摘要: 信息技術(Information Technology, IT)術語的數量十分龐大,但組合語所占比率很高,由各單詞的含義“猜中”組合語的含義的比率更高。因此本文選出1000個基礎術語元(素),經對比分析可知:兩岸術語元完全相同的約占六成 ;加上雖有差別卻不言自明的術語,“易交流度”約達七成;對于定名不同,但與概念一一對應的術語,經熟悉對方用語的短暫過程后,易交流度升至約八成 。而對同名異“實”,會引起嚴重誤導的術語,提出“直譯首選”、“壓縮多一對應”和“避讓既占”三條規則并以此作了優化模擬,假如定名時都遵守這些規則,易交流度幾乎達到九成 。另根據影響易交流程度的同一量化方案,估計出IT術語在“英語圈”的易交流度為 90%~92% ??梢姟叭A語圈”要達到這樣的水平,絕非不可企及,問題在于協調和優化。

Abstract: Among extraordinarily large IT (Information Technology)terms, the combinations monopolize a preponderating proportion and the “hitit ratio” from component words shows rather high.. The author therefore chose and analyzed 1000 IT “term elements” from two coasts of the Strait, indicating that about 60% of the terms between the two is identical; adding those with different naming yet interunderstandable, the intercommunicability comes up to 70%; for those with different naming and distinct meaning, only after a short period of a elementary acquaintance with them, the ability increases to 80% ; and for those with same naming but indistinct meaning,hence apt to misleading, three rules are framed and then applied to simulate their nominations, as a result, the mutual intelligibility could be “optimized” to 90% . By contrast, putting the similar quantification schema to English sphere, the corresponding index is estimated in 90%~92%.
