一、 教材資源分析

本單元主要是圍繞“季節(jié)和氣候”這個話題開展各項活動,所涉及的日常交際項目有介紹,詢問,建議等,其中,以\"詢問天氣\"及其應答為重點內容。同時學習一些常用的與氣象相關的一些詞匯。

二、 學情分析

學生在第一課時已經(jīng)學習了B、C 版塊四季以及天氣類單詞,會用What's the weather like today?詢問天氣,并快速回答。由于對C版塊的操練,學生會用Which season do you like best? I like... Why? Because...的句型相互問答,了解同學們喜愛的季節(jié)和原因。而且每個同學能說出自己喜愛那個季節(jié)的最特別的原因。

四、教學目標

1. 能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫next week

2. 能聽懂、會說、會讀rain, in the countryside ,most of the time, Sounds great! 并補充三會詞degree, golden, activity

3. 復習第一課時學生所學的氣候和四季單詞以及句型Which seasons do you like best? I like...Why? Because it's ... I can...

4. 能綜合運用句型What's the weather like ...?詢問天氣或者四季的氣候,并做出相應的回答。

5. 讓學生了解紐約四季的情況及一些景點,知道世界各國的氣候不盡相同,開拓視野。

五、教學重點

1. 能熟練掌握談論季節(jié)的詞匯。

2. 能綜合運用本單元所學單詞、句型和日常交際用語。

3. 能熟練朗讀本單元的對話,指導學生理解。

六、教學難點

引導學生主動了解紐約的天氣并理解課文

七、課前準備

1.教具準備:本課課件、單詞句型卡片以及Magic window教具

2.教學準備:事先布置學生聽錄音預習A

3.板書準備:課前寫好本課的課題Unit 5 The seasons 以及日期

Step 1 Listen to the song

《Changing seasons》

Step 2 Free talk and revision

T: Do you like this song?

It names changing seasons.

How many seasons are there in a year?

What are they?

(復習spring, summer, autumn, winter)

T: Excuse me, which season do you like best?

S: I like ...best.

T: Why?

S: Because....

(叫3-5個學生,并引導學生問學生答,復習第一課時所學的句型)

T: Which season do I like best? Do you want to know? Ask me please.

S: Which season do you like best, Miss Zha?

T: I like autumn best.

S: Why?

這樣,通過師生之間的互動,了解彼此喜歡的季節(jié),并說出自己喜歡的獨特的理由,讓學生和學生、學生和老師之間的情感不斷增長,而所要復習的句型已經(jīng)在愉悅的心情中達到了復習的效果。

顏色兒歌主要是讓學生說出自己心目中四季的色彩,活動兒歌主要是讓學生告訴大家自己喜歡或者經(jīng)常做的活動,在編這個兒歌的同時相機教學Sounds great!;感覺兒歌的時候,想讓學生用動作表達出在每個季節(jié)中的感覺,并教學most of the time;而在說天氣兒歌時,先復習當天氣候,通過Magic window復習5個氣候類單詞,再教學四季的氣候。

Step 4 Presentation

T: I'm sure you are all good weather boys and weather girls. Now Su Yang's dad is going to New York next week(下星期) He wants to know the weather in New York.(課件出示句型和圖片)

T: He needs your help. Would you help him?

Let's surf the Internet and search it.

通過前面夸獎學生都是出色的氣象男孩和氣象女孩,提出Su Yang's dad is going to New York. He wants to know the weather in New York. He needs help.提出讓同學們幫助他,通過上網(wǎng)查資料的方式來了解紐約的四季及氣候情況。準備四季的氣候資料時,春天可采用圖表結合的方式,夏天可采用坐標的方式,秋天可采用圖片以及描述相結合的方式,冬天則可采用圖片的方式讓學生體會紐約每個季節(jié)的氣候,并引導學生自己說出。

Different colours mean different weather. Because they're in different temperature zones.

課堂小結讓學生知道不同的季節(jié)有不同的氣候,而不同的國家因為不在同一個氣候帶而氣候也不同,滲透一些地理知識,從而豐富學生的知識。

Step 8 Homework

1.Introduce the weather in Wuxi and write it down.

這是課堂的延續(xù),很多學生沒有機會在課堂上說,所以鼓勵他們寫下來,就寫成了一篇小作文。

2.Help the foreign friends know the weather in Beijing. (The Olympic Games will be held in Beijing in 2008, so many foreign friends want to know the weather in Beijing, surf the Internet and help them please)

奧運會將要到來,幫外國朋友了解四季的任務,讓學生對奧運會感到并不遙遠,原來他們也可以為奧運會出一份力,而且力所能及,更加激發(fā)了學生學習英語的熱情。

3.Listen to the tape and try to recite. 這是一個常規(guī)作業(yè)。
