一、CLASS OPENING AND REVIEW（3分鐘）

* Greeting:

Give the standard greeting to welcome students to English class.

* Sing a song:

Play the audiotape and sing the song “How are you?”

The students sing the song and do actions.

* Free talk:

Talk about the weather and the animals on the farm. Use some questions such as: How’s the weather today? What animals do you like? Do you like a pig?

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】以親切的問候?qū)耄M(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的日常對(duì)話，給學(xué)生用英文交流的機(jī)會(huì)。師生同唱歌曲“How are you?”在歌聲與活動(dòng)中互相問候，營(yíng)造輕松和諧的氛圍，師生關(guān)系融洽，提高學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性，為本次的英語教學(xué)活動(dòng)提供了一個(gè)良好的開端。在“Free talk”中的討論話題，為引入本課主題奠定基礎(chǔ)。

二、KEY CONCEPTS（9分鐘）

* Use the multimedia and review the animals on the farm.

1. Show the picture of a farm and lead a discussion about the picture. Ask some questions such as:

Do you like a farm?

What can you see on a farm?

2. The teacher leads to a discussion about the animals on a farm.

Show a cow and talk about it.

What color is it?

Do you like it?

Use the same way to show a pig， a chicken， a duck．And talk about them. Encourage the students to talk and discussion. They can talk about the color， what they like or dislike Etc.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】小學(xué)階段學(xué)生的無意注意占主導(dǎo)地位，變化的、形象的事物易引起學(xué)生注意，且有助于記憶。關(guān)鍵詞匯部分以多媒體的形式呈現(xiàn)，并伴隨各種動(dòng)物的叫聲，給學(xué)生直觀、形象的認(rèn)知，使學(xué)生產(chǎn)生濃厚的興趣。

三、Learn the new concepts of the story

1. The teacher asks: What else can you see on a farm?

2. Show the pictures of the field，say this word several times.

Show the picture of mud， say the word several times.

Show the picture of pond. Introduce pond.

The students try to say and understand and recognizethese words: field， mud， pond.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】在英語教學(xué)中，詞匯的學(xué)習(xí)不應(yīng)孤立地去機(jī)械記憶，而應(yīng)把單詞融入到語句中，給學(xué)生充分練習(xí)英語表達(dá)的機(jī)會(huì)。本課在使用多媒體課件復(fù)習(xí)關(guān)鍵詞匯及出示新授詞匯時(shí)，都有一些小小的談?wù)搩?nèi)容。不僅起到復(fù)習(xí)鞏固的效果，而且拓展了知識(shí)，促進(jìn)學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)能力。

STORY:

四、Prepare to read（5分鐘）

Show the beginning of the story. Tell the students that the story is about Jenny’s father when he was a little boy.

Ask the students to look at the picture and guess:

What happened?

What is the main idea about the story?

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】利用多媒體展示故事的開頭部分。針對(duì)圖中的信息，教師進(jìn)行相關(guān)提問，給學(xué)生以懸念，同時(shí)任務(wù)教學(xué)法的運(yùn)用，使學(xué)生帶著問題及好奇心來讀故事。增強(qiáng)了學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，同時(shí)提高學(xué)習(xí)效率。

五、Listen and Read the story（3分鐘）

Play the audiotape. Give the listening command.

The students look at their story books and listen.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】聽錄音讀故事，學(xué)生在聽讀的過程中邊聽，邊讀，邊進(jìn)行思考，使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)自主學(xué)習(xí)。

六、Discuss the story （18分鐘）

Use the multimedia to show the story and lead the discussion.

1. The multimedia shows: When Jenny’s father was a little boy， he lived on a farm.

Ask some questions about this part.

Such as: Where was the boy?Who was the boy?

The students talk about this part.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】利用多媒體展示故事內(nèi)容，更為形象、生動(dòng)，有助于學(xué)生理解。在聽過一遍故事的基礎(chǔ)上，再根據(jù)故事的發(fā)展進(jìn)行討論，提高學(xué)生的語言運(yùn)用能力及語言表達(dá)能力。

2. Show the second picture. Talk about the picture.

Show the phrases:

“too big，too small，just right”The students try to understand and say : too big，too small，just right

3. Show the third and fourth pictures.

Guess what would happen?

The students talk

4. Show the fifth

partof the story.

Discuss the fifth picture.

5. Show the sixth

part of the story.

The teacher asks

some questions and

leads to a discussion. Such as:

Did Jenny ride a pig in the mud?

七、Listen to the story again. Discuss the story in small groups，The teacher provides some

questions such as:

Do you like the story? Can you ride a pig in the mud? Do you like to ride a pig in the mud? Are you silly?

The students also can talk about their experience about the farm.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】隨著多媒體的演示，故事一步步發(fā)展，教師通過不斷提出問題吸引學(xué)生注意力。在看、聽、讀、討論故事的過程中，通過課堂的師生互動(dòng)和生生互動(dòng)，運(yùn)用已有的語言知識(shí)進(jìn)行交流與討論，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言表達(dá)及語言運(yùn)用能力。拓展學(xué)生知識(shí)，鍛煉學(xué)生的聽說能力及思維能力。

八、CLASS CLOSING(2分鐘)

Sing a song and say good-bye

Reorganize the song “This is the way we wash the clothes．”

Make a new song：“This is the way we find the cow .”

The students sing and Say good-bye!

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】通過改編歌曲“This is the way we wash the clothes．”為“This is the way we find the cow .并以多媒體的形式展現(xiàn)，再次出現(xiàn)本課關(guān)鍵詞匯，加深記憶。與開頭相呼應(yīng)，在歌聲中互道再見。使學(xué)生在愉悅的氛圍中結(jié)束本次英語活動(dòng)。

九、HOMEWORK:

1. Listen to the story again.

2. Talk about the story with your friends.

3. Talk about your favorite animals and draw a picture about the farm and your favourite animals.

課后小記：

本課曾參加市評(píng)優(yōu)課比賽榮獲一等獎(jiǎng)。

上好一節(jié)課不僅需要課前的精心準(zhǔn)備，還需要課堂的調(diào)控與實(shí)踐，而課后的教學(xué)反思則是不斷提高與進(jìn)步的推動(dòng)力，只有在反思中總結(jié)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，揚(yáng)長(zhǎng)避短，才能不斷進(jìn)步。本課為一節(jié)故事課，要求學(xué)生在掌握相關(guān)詞匯的基礎(chǔ)上看、聽、讀并談?wù)摴适聝?nèi)容，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語言表達(dá)及語言運(yùn)用能力。在課的一開始以親切的問候?qū)耄瑤熒?“How are you?”在歌聲與活動(dòng)中互相問候。在這一環(huán)節(jié)中，學(xué)生表現(xiàn)輕松、愉快，很快地把注意力轉(zhuǎn)移到英語學(xué)習(xí)中，提高了學(xué)生的注意力。新授部分的詞匯運(yùn)用多媒體展示，給學(xué)生以直觀形象的認(rèn)知，在這一環(huán)節(jié)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)效果良好。在聽讀故事的環(huán)節(jié)，學(xué)生表現(xiàn)出對(duì)故事的極大熱情。由于這一環(huán)節(jié)講究的是對(duì)故事的整體認(rèn)知及理解，并不要求每一個(gè)單詞都會(huì)說，學(xué)生會(huì)對(duì)故事中出現(xiàn)的一些詞或句子比較陌生，因此，在故事的討論這一環(huán)節(jié)，由于詞匯量和語言知識(shí)的積累所限，學(xué)生間所進(jìn)行的討論顯得有些單調(diào)，如：部分學(xué)生只是局限在圍繞：What’s this? What’s her name? What color is the pig? 等幾個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單問題的討論。因此，要想進(jìn)行知識(shí)的延伸，就需要突破這幾個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的問題，把討論引導(dǎo)到故事的重要內(nèi)容上，這些需要以一定的語言積累和詞匯積累為基石，這就對(duì)我們提出了兩方面的要求：一方面要注意平時(shí)的積累，另一方面，在進(jìn)行故事討論的過程中，為學(xué)生提供更多可供參考的語言材料。
