Hello， boys and girls!易混詞語在歷屆各地中考試題中比比皆是，屢見不鮮，為幫助初三同學(xué)復(fù)習(xí)，做好迎接中考的準備，這里選錄了近年來全國部分有關(guān)中考試題加以例析。

一、how long/how far/how soon/how often

[詞語辨析]

1）how long對表示時間持續(xù)的狀態(tài)進行提問； 2）how far對表示距離有多遠提問； 3）how soon對表示“要過多久以后”“要到什么時候”等意義的時間狀語進行提問； 4）how often對表示頻度（即頻率的次數(shù)）的副詞或詞組提問。

[詞語辨析]

這兩個詞均可表示在比賽中“贏，獲勝”，但其用法有別：1)win的賓語為表示比賽、戰(zhàn)斗、獎品等的名詞；2）beat則指戰(zhàn)勝對手，賓語為某隊或某人。

這三個詞均含“當(dāng)……時候”的意思，但用法不盡相同：1）when的含義最廣，泛指某時時可與as/while替換;也可特指某一時間點，這時不可用as/while替換。when還可作并列連詞用，譯成“這時、突然”。2）while/as均強調(diào)同時發(fā)生，前者持續(xù)時間較長，后者較短，一般都要用延續(xù)性動詞。3）as還可作“因為”解，引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句。

1）used to后接動詞原形，指的是過去習(xí)慣性的動作，目的在于與現(xiàn)在形成對照。2)get used to后接v-ing形式，表示“習(xí)慣做某事”，也可接名詞、代詞，表示“適應(yīng)……”。另一種形式為be used to,表示狀態(tài)。

[詞語辨析]

1)tired 意思是“疲勞的”，有被動或已完成的含義，指使某人疲勞，主語為人或其他有生命的東西；2）tiring意為“令人疲勞的”，有主動或進行的含義，一般指事物本身使人累，主語通常為物。

[詞語辨析]

[詞語辨析]

這兩個短語均表示“不再”，但含義不同：1)no longer指時間上“不再”延續(xù)，多與表示狀態(tài)的動詞或延續(xù)性動詞連用；2）no more多指次數(shù)上“不再”增加，不再發(fā)生，“再也不……”，相當(dāng)于never again,多與瞬間動詞連用，修飾具體動作。

十四、maybe/may be

[詞語辨析]

這四個詞均與“看”有關(guān)，但用法有別：1）look強調(diào)“看”的動作，指“認真看”，是不及物動詞，在強調(diào)看某人/物時，其后必須接介詞at。2）see是及物動詞，側(cè)重于“看”的結(jié)果，表示“看見、看到”。3）watch作動詞，表示“觀看、注視”，多指觀看運動著的事物，如電視、比賽、表演等。4）read指“閱讀，朗讀”，在漢語中譯成“看”，多指“看書、報、雜志”等。
