Ｓａｍ’ｓ Ｎｉｇｈｔｍａｒｅ

That night， Sam had a nightmare. He dreamed* that Tom became a monster*. The monster wanted to eat him.

那天晚上，薩姆做了一個噩夢。他夢見湯姆變成了一個怪物，而且那個怪物要把他吃掉。

Sam and Tom were looking at toy planes in the shop window. Suddenly Tom’s watch beeped*. “I am late for class， I have to* go now，” said Tom.

薩姆和湯姆正看著商店櫥窗里的玩具飛機，突然湯姆的手表響了。“我上課要遲到了，我得走了。”湯姆說。

Then Sam saw something drop* out of Tom’s pocket*. It was a hundred-dollar bill*. “That’s enough* to buy that toy plane，” thought Sam.

接著薩姆看到有東西從湯姆的口袋掉出來。原來是一張百元大鈔。“這足夠買那架玩具飛機了。”薩姆心想。

So he picked up* the money and bought a toy plane. When Sam got home， he played with the toy plane. “Wow， what a great toy plane!” said Sam.

于是他撿起錢，買了一架玩具飛機。薩姆一回到家就玩起這架玩具飛機來。“哇，好棒的玩具飛機啊!”薩姆說。

“Sam， that’s so cool! Is it yours?” asked Sam’s sister， Amy. Sam was nervous* and lied*， “Yes， Tom gave it to me.” “Why did he give you this?” Sam’s mum asked. “Because he had two toy planes，” Sam lied again*.

“薩姆，那飛機好酷啊!是你的嗎?”薩姆的妹妹艾米問道。薩姆緊張起來并撒謊說:“是的，是湯姆給我的。”“湯姆為什么會把它給你呢?”薩姆的媽媽問。“因為他有兩架玩具飛機。”薩姆又撒謊說。
