“Making Fun Serious”是雅馬哈倫敦設計工作室與英國皇家藝術學院產品設計專業合作的設計項目。它旨在探索全新的樂器與演奏方法。作品與常規的樂器不同，其中包含著年輕一代設計師對于音樂的熱情，他們不遺余力地將演奏者腦海中的奇思妙想傳遞出來，努力挖掘每一個演奏者的能力和技巧。通過對作品堅持不懈的完成與改進，盡力實現每一個好主意。在這些作品的設計當中，一些生活中尋常的物品與活動被設計師邀請到了作品之中，如書本、打字機。設計師借這些熟悉的物品告訴人們，音樂在生活中的每一個角落。他們用心捕捉到了與音樂相關的每一個場景。
