2010年溫哥華冬奧會

inter Olympic Games is held every four years. And the year of 2010 is a time to have the grand game. It was held from February 12th to 28th in Vancouver， Canada. And it is the ninth time that China has taken part in the Winter Olympics since 1980. To our great excitement， Chinese athletes did a great job， winning a total number of 11 medals.

冬奧會每四年舉行一次。2010年舉行了這場盛大活動。今年的冬奧會于2月12日到2月18日在加拿大的溫哥華舉辦。這是中國自1980年來參加過的第九次冬奧會。讓廣大中國人民極為興奮的是我們的運動員在這次冬奧會上取得了共十一枚獎牌的好成績。

How did the Winter Olympics first come into being? At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century， sports such as skiing， skating and ice hockey became more and more popular and wide-spread in many European countries. Considering the increasing popularity of sports on ice and snow， the father of modern Olympics， Le baron Pierre De Coubertin， suggested holding the Winter Olympics Games. And the idea was supported by a large number of members of the IOC. Then， the first Winter Olympics which was called “Winter Sports Week” began in France in 1924. Two years later the IOC gave it an official name: the Winter Olympic Games.

冬奧會最初是怎么形成的呢?在十九世紀末、二十世紀初的時候冰雪運動如滑雪，滑冰，冰球等在歐洲國家日益流行和普及。考慮到冰雪運動的日益受歡迎，現代奧林匹克之父--顧拜旦，提出了舉辦冬季奧運會的建議。這個提議得到了國際奧委會的廣大成員的支持。于是在1924年當時被稱為“冬季運動周”的冬奧會在法國第一次召開了。兩年后國際奧委會給予它正式名稱:冬季奧運會。

Le baron Pierre De Coubertin(皮埃爾#8226;德#8226;顧拜旦，1863～1937)，是法國著名教育家、國際體育活動家、教育學家和歷史學家、現代奧林匹克運動的發起人。1896年至1925年，他曾任國際奧林匹克委員會主席，并設計了奧運會會徽 、奧運會會旗 。由于他對奧林匹克不朽的功績，在國際上被譽為“奧林匹克之父”。

IOC: International Olympic Committee的簡稱。表示國際奧委會的意思。

申雪/趙宏博1992年8月開始配對練習雙人滑(Figure Skating)，至今已有十幾年的合作經驗。兩人的技術特點是動作難度大，藝術表現力強。此外，他們的“四周拋跳”是世界最高難度的動作。申雪/趙宏博多次在世錦賽上保持著前三名的高水準，先后奪得了1999年和2000年的亞軍以及2001年的季軍。他們在2002年鹽湖城冬奧會上奪得雙人滑銅牌。2007年，申雪/趙宏博再次奪得世錦賽冠軍，之后宣布退役。2009年兩人復出，并在2010年溫哥華冬奧會上為中國奪得首枚花樣滑冰奧運金牌。

王濛是中國女子短道速滑隊(Short Track Speed Skating)的后起之秀，已經成為年輕一代選手中的領軍人物，強項是500米，多次奪得世界杯分站賽的冠軍，并在2006年冬奧會上獲得4500米金牌，在2010年溫哥華冬奧會上成功衛冕，成為中國衛冕冬奧會冠軍第一人。此外，王濛還在溫哥華冬奧會上奪得了1000米和3000米接力金牌，成為三冠王，也是中國冬奧歷史上奪得金牌最多的選手。
