讓重慶走向國(guó)際中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)重慶委員會(huì)成立

3月19日，中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)舉行重慶委員會(huì)成立慶典，世界500強(qiáng)企業(yè)的高管齊聚一堂，美國(guó)駐成都總領(lǐng)事館商務(wù)領(lǐng)事馬仕戈、重慶市對(duì)外經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易委員會(huì)副主任張西建、重慶市貿(mào)促委主席鄒小平以及其他國(guó)家駐渝領(lǐng)事館的官員等出席了本次盛典。

自2009年中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)重慶辦事處成立后，商會(huì)更加積極的支持重慶地區(qū)中美商務(wù)關(guān)系發(fā)展，更好的服務(wù)于在渝美商會(huì)會(huì)員單位及個(gè)人。中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)成了中美商務(wù)關(guān)系最堅(jiān)實(shí)的橋梁。

近幾年重慶經(jīng)濟(jì)飛速發(fā)展，重慶理事委員會(huì)的成立是中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)的發(fā)展階段中的重要里程碑，理事成員都是民主選舉自世界500強(qiáng)的企業(yè)老總，他們的智慧與努力會(huì)讓中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)在重慶經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的軌跡上留下深深的印跡。目前，美商會(huì)的總部設(shè)在成都，商會(huì)會(huì)員已達(dá)到160余家，均來(lái)自世界500強(qiáng)的外資企業(yè)以及優(yōu)秀的中國(guó)企業(yè)。

在成立儀式上，美國(guó)駐成都總領(lǐng)事館商務(wù)領(lǐng)事馬仕戈告訴記者，美國(guó)商會(huì)重慶委員會(huì)的成立是重慶走向國(guó)際的標(biāo)志，商會(huì)也是商界與當(dāng)?shù)卣疁贤ǖ闹匾馈Ｖ貞c在工業(yè)方面有著相當(dāng)?shù)膬?yōu)勢(shì)，因此對(duì)于美國(guó)相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的公司具有很強(qiáng)的吸引力。其次，重慶擁有長(zhǎng)江這個(gè)很好的航道資源，種種優(yōu)勢(shì)綜合，讓美國(guó)企業(yè)對(duì)投資重慶充滿了濃厚的興趣。他相信，中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)將迅速成長(zhǎng)為重慶地區(qū)最活躍、規(guī)模最大的外國(guó)商會(huì)。

“我希望把我們?cè)诔啥妓鞯囊磺醒赜玫街貞c，舉辦更多的活動(dòng)，提供交流平臺(tái)，傳達(dá)政府與企業(yè)之間最真實(shí)的聲音。我們很看好重慶這個(gè)大市場(chǎng)，希望能帶來(lái)更多的美資企業(yè)落戶重慶。”

中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)王曉東在接受本刊記者專訪時(shí)也表示，中國(guó)西部經(jīng)濟(jì)現(xiàn)正處于高速發(fā)展時(shí)期，重慶是長(zhǎng)江中上游地區(qū)的中心城市，對(duì)西部地區(qū)的發(fā)展具有重要意義。重慶委員會(huì)的成立也是順應(yīng)西南地區(qū)的經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展趨勢(shì)。王曉東很激動(dòng)的告訴記者，據(jù)他所知，目前在重慶的美資企業(yè)已達(dá)到200多家，重慶地區(qū)的商會(huì)會(huì)員也在迅速增加，這是一件好事情。

商會(huì)的橋梁作用就是要體現(xiàn)在利于招商引資。目前美國(guó)西南商會(huì)在成都做得很好，商會(huì)會(huì)經(jīng)常和政府，以及各個(gè)商會(huì)進(jìn)行溝通，為會(huì)員出謀劃策，站在外商的角度為政府提供最切實(shí)的意見。

中國(guó)西南美國(guó)商會(huì)是一個(gè)非盈利性組織，是中國(guó)西南地區(qū)最大和最具影響力的外國(guó)商會(huì)。商會(huì)的使命是在美國(guó)和中國(guó)政府之間起到橋梁作用，同美國(guó)駐成都總領(lǐng)事館緊密合作，促進(jìn)中美經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易的交流和發(fā)展，為商會(huì)會(huì)員及美資企業(yè)提供服務(wù)。通過舉辦各種形式的商務(wù)活動(dòng)促進(jìn)會(huì)員公司的商務(wù)發(fā)展。通過美商會(huì)的平臺(tái)讓中國(guó)政府與商會(huì)會(huì)員之間以及中國(guó)政府與美國(guó)政府之間，會(huì)員與會(huì)員之間良好的溝通，促進(jìn)商務(wù)交流，提高四川、重慶的外資投資環(huán)境。

2010年，美商會(huì)將更多致力于與美中政府更緊密的合作，為在中國(guó)西南地區(qū)促進(jìn)有建設(shè)性的和更有活力的商務(wù)環(huán)境而努力，為會(huì)員提供更多的福利，例如簽證預(yù)約服務(wù)、會(huì)員優(yōu)惠卡、關(guān)系網(wǎng)絡(luò)拓展、市場(chǎng)開發(fā)以及政府關(guān)系等。

O n March 19, the American Chamber Commerce in Southwest China Chongqing O rganizing Comm ittee kicked off, executives from Fortune 500 com panies gathered together, the Commercial Consul of U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu William Marshak, deputy director of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Econom ic Comm ittee Zhang Xijian, Chairm an of Chongqing trade promotion comm ittee Zou Xiaoping and other Consulate officials from different countries attended the ceremony.

In recent years, the economy of Chongqing is developing rapid ly; the establishment of Chongqing O rganizing Comm ittee is an im portant m ilestone in the development of the American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China. Currently, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is headquartered in Chengdu, the members of Chamber of Commerce has reached more than 160 which are all foreign-funded enterprises from the Fortune 500 as well as outstanding Chinese enterprises.

At the launch ceremony, William Marshak told us that the establishment of Chongqing O rganizing Comm ittee is a symbol for Chongqing going out into international. Cham ber of Commerce is also an im portant channel of communication between the business comm unity and local government. Chongqing has a considerable advantage in industry, which w ill attract many American companies in related fields. Second, Chongqing has a very good channel resource-Yangtze River, for the various advantages of integrated; American enterprises are full of interest in investing in Chongqing. He believes that the American Chamber of Commerce w ill grow rapidly as the Chongqing's most active and largest foreign chambers of commerce.

Wang Xiaodong, the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China also said, Chongqing is the center city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, which has great significance of the development in the western region. As he knows, at present the US-funded enterprises in Chongqing has reached more than 200, the members of Chamber of Commerce in Chongqing is grow ing rapidly, and this is a good thing. The effects of Chamber of Commerce are like a bridge to aid investment promotion. “I hope that we can follow what we do in Chengdu to Chongqing to organize more activities, provide exchange p latform between the government and enterprises to convey the most authentic voice. We are very optim istic about the big market of Chongqing, hoping to bring more US-funded enterprises settled in Chongqing.”

In 2010, the American Chamber of Commerce w ill be more comm itted to closer co-operation w ith the United States government, make efforts in promoting a constructive and more dynam ic business environment in Southwest China. Provide more benefits for members such as visa appointment service, membership benefits cards, network expansion, market development and government relations.
