2010,世博中國

在2002年12月3日之前，很多中國人也許根本不知道世博會是何物。這一天，在摩納哥蒙特卡洛，經過國際展覽局第132次成員國大會投票表決，中國成功獲得了2010年上海世界博覽會的舉辦權。此后的中國開始進入“世博”時代。

能在中國舉辦世博會，是一代代中國人的盼望。經過100多年的積淀與求索，終于在北京奧運會的兩年之后，世博會又在中國上海精彩亮相。

“舉全國之力，集中華智慧，共同辦好世博盛會。”為了這個承諾，184天的世博會，中國精心準備了8年。

8年的時間里，全國人民聚智聚力，把上海世博會建設成了參展面積最大、參展人數最多的一屆世博會，并上首次開辟城市最佳實踐區和“網上世博”，以最好的成績向世界交出一份完美的答卷。

“城市，讓生活更美好”。這一世紀性的主題承載著人們對全球未來合作與人類未來發展的深邃思考和廣泛共識，將是上海世博會為世界人民留下有關城市的一份豐厚的精神遺產，從而使上海世博會真正成為世界各國人民的一次偉大聚會，以最為廣泛的參與度載入世博會的史冊。

2010年的中國注定屬于世博會。

Before December 3， 2002， many Chinese people did not what the World Expo meant. On that day， in Monte Carlo， Monaco， by voting at the meeting of the 132nd session of member countries， Shanghai， China won the right to host the 2010 World Expo. At that moment， China entered the “World Expo” era.

It is the anticipation of many generations of Chinese to host the World Expo in China. Through more than 100 years of accumulation and exploration， two years after the Beijing Olympic Games， the World Expo is held in Shanghai.

“With the efforts of the whole country， assembling the Chinese wisdom to host the World Expo，” to fulfill this promise to host the 184 days of World Expo， China has made careful preparation for eight years.

Over the past eight years， the Chinese people of the whole country have gathered their wisdom to build the Shanghai World Expo into the largest exposition in terms of the exhibition area and number of participants. For the first time， the best practice area of cities and \"Oneline World Expo\" are available.

The theme of the Shanghai World Expo is “Better City， Better Life，” which implies profound thought and extensive common understanding concerning future global cooperation and the future development of mankind. This will be the rich spiritual heritage the Shanghai World Expo will leave for people worldwide. As a result， the World Expo will become a great gathering event of people from all counries.

China in 2010 is destined to belong to the World Expo.
