(1) The author’s story/experience reminds me of my experience in my childhood. I was stealing green soy beans in my neighbors’ field when I was caught on the spot. How embarrassed I was!
(2) On reading the story, my mind began its search for a similar experience. Immediately it occurred to me that I was often laughed at by my classmates because I was the shortest in my class.
(3) I also had an unforgettable experience. It was when I was doing my first chemistry experiment in Junior Middle School.
(4) What a/an embarrassing/delighting/fantastic/ unbelievable experience it is! In my case/ Take myself as an example/ For example/ For instance, I have ever faced the same situation.
(5) After reading the story, I can’t/ couldn’t help remembering the earthquake that happened ten years ago. It was my neighbor who rescued me from the collapsing house.
2. 感受。
(1) From this experience I learned/ realized/ firmly believed that time is so precious. Nothing can compensate for the loss of time.
(2) According to/ Based on my personal experience, it’s well worth the effort to make plenty of preparations. Just as the saying goes, “Grinding a chopper will not delay the work of cutting firewood.”
(3) From then on, I have tried to be determined in my work no matter what happens . Only if you persevere in work, will you succeed in the end.
思路分析:首先立場鮮明地說清楚自己的觀點傾向,可由similarly, personally等引出并與之前的概要部分形成過渡;然后敘述自己的經歷,可由take myself as an example, in my case, I couldn’t help remembering等引出。
Similarly, I would like to stay with my friends rather than stay alone. In my case, math was once my nightmare in my study. However, it was my friend, Wang, who gave me a hand as well as a chance to break this curse. Although I was rather slow, he guided me through tremendous math problems with great patience. And finally, I step by step learned to work them out myself and I think this attributed to the endless effort made together by him and me. And no words can express my gratitude to him. From this experience I realized a friend in need is a friend indeed. May all of us treasure friendship.
It was one of those cold winter nights in the Haight district of San Francisco. I was driving an ugly car. It was a difficult car to drive. In fact, the car was badly damaged when I bought it from a neighbor. The engine needed repairs and most of the oil I added would leak out along the way.
That night, the car died in the middle of Oak Street. There I sat, in busy evening traffic, as a number of cars flashed by.
In my rearview mirror (后視鏡) I saw a car stop behind me. I knew what was coming. Soon the horn (喇叭) would start and someone would be shouting at me. I thought I was in trouble.
But I was wrong. A stranger got out of the car and came to my window. He shouted, “Do you want a push?” I was amazed but must have nodded yes. He waved to his car and two teens came out. When I was safely taken to a side street, they went back into their car and joined the sea of cars.
I didn’t get the chance to thank them.
Over the years I’ve realized something about the stranger who stopped to help. I’ve noticed that every time I’m in trouble, he appears. He never looks the same. His age and race change, too. But he’s always there. I’ve started to understand he’s the best part of what makes us human beings. It is the unasked kindness provided by a stranger that makes life worthwhile.

1. I have very similar experiences to the author. I am so disorganized and lazy that I always leave my job undone until the last moment. For example, I never do my homework in the daytime of weekends but take hours only for happiness. As a result, I have to spend sleepless Sunday nights scribbling my homework, which leads to terrible marks in English because of no chances available to revise. Now I realize that a good habit is the basis of success and I must get rid of the bad habits which prevent me from succeeding.
2. Praise is really magical. Perhaps many of us had such an experience. Take myself as an example. I was very naughty in the primary school. Most of the teachers and even my parents felt headache of me. But it happened that I once got a very high mark in an examination and the head teacher reported this to my parents. My parents praised me crazily for quite a long time and told neighbors about that. I felt really happy and became polite to others from then on. In the meanwhile, I was determined to work even harder and made greater progress.
3. I still remember a good deed that I did when I was a small boy. One day, our next-door neighbors asked if I could take care of their pet dog as they were to go on holiday. I pleasantly agreed to take care of it. Every day, I fed, bathed and played with it. When my neighbors came back after the vacation, the dog was even reluctant to leave me! My neighbors thanked me, saying that I was a most helpful boy. From this experience, not only did I have a good time, but I also learned to be responsible.
A stranger and his friends helped to push the writer’s broken car away from the main street without any complaining. The constant similar kindnesses from strangers make the writer moved by our human nature.
Just like the writer, I always believe that we are born kind to others. I can’t stand witnessing others suffer from misfortune and I can’t help reaching out my hand to help those in need. Actually I was also influenced by a stranger and thus strengthened this belief.
Once I was about to catch a train in Guangzhou Station. There was only an hour left before the train would leave, but I was still on my way to the station. In order to save time, I decided to take the subway although it was the first time I had ever taken it. After entering the subway entrance, however, I was completely confused by the directions and the self-service system. I had no idea but to walk up and down hurriedly. Seeing my anxious look, a stranger came up and helped me buy the ticket. Still not being sure of my catching the train in time, he even accompanied me along the whole way to the station. From then on, I have always tried to help those in need, known or unknown, if possible. I firmly believe that it is the little warmth among people that makes the world so beautiful.
