看功夫熊貓 學英語從句

功夫熊貓是一部經典動畫電影，同時也是很好的英語學習材料。眾所周知， 從句是英語語法中極為重要的部分。但是因為英語語法比較枯燥無味，不少學習者不愿深入思考，甚至避而遠之。筆者在看功夫熊貓時，不時會發現一些經典的句子，其中包含各種從句結構。為提高英語學習者的興趣，幫助其掌握英語從句結構，現總結如下。

一、定語從句

1.One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.

2.According to legend there was once a time when Master Shifu actually used to smile.

3.Tai Lung has escaped from prison! And you’re the only one who can stop him.

4.I cannot train you the way I trained the Five.

5.Po， I think it’s time I told you something I should have told you a long time ago.

二、狀語從句

1.And then you will fulfill your destiny and take over the restaurant， just as I took over from my father who took over from his father.（方式狀語從句）

2.When I was young and crazy， I thought of running away and learning how to make tofu.（時間狀語從句）

3.Your mind is like this water， my friend. When it is agitated（使激動；使焦急；使不安；攪動）， it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle， the answer becomes clear.（when引導的時間狀語從句和if 引導的條件狀語從句）

4.The Panda will never fulfill his destiny， nor you， yours， until you let go of the illusion(幻想；錯覺) of control.（時間狀語從句）

5....but no matter what you do， that seed will grow to be a peach tree.（讓步狀語從句）

6.Maybe it can， if you are willing to guide it， to nurture it， to believe in it.（條件狀語從句）

7.I eat when I am upset， okay!（時間狀語從句）

三、主語從句

1.Whomever I chose will not only bring peace to the valley， but also to you.

2. It is said that the Dragon Warrior can survive for months at a time on nothing but the dew of a single Gingko leaf and the energy of the universe.

四、賓語從句

1.I sense the Dragon Warrior is among us.

2.You are too concerned with what was and what will be.

3.And Shifu has to destroy what he had created.

五、表語從句

1.But today is a gift. That is why it is called the “present”.

2.Master please， let us stop Tai Lung? This is what you train us for!

3.This is where Oogway unraveled the mysteries of harmony and focus. This is the birth place of Kung Fu.

六、從句中的從句

-I stayed because I thought if anyone could change me， could make me not me， it was you， the greatest Kung Fu teacher of all of China.（because引導的原因狀語從句中有一個賓語從句，賓語從句中有一個if 引導的條件狀語從句）
