1.Cool colors

（1）Blue（藍(lán)色）

藍(lán)色一般用來(lái)表示幽靜、深邃和開(kāi)朗，如：“blue sky ”，“blue sea ”，但在下面的詞組中，“blue”卻有憂郁和沮喪的意思：“blue junk”（沮喪）；“blue monday”（憂傷的星期一）；“to be in the blue”（垂頭喪氣）。

2.Warm colors

（1）Yellow（黃色）

3.Intermediate colors

（1）White（白色的，白的或純潔的）

（2）Grey（灰色）

灰色往往有消亡，暗淡之意，如“a grey day”（陰天），“grey prospects”（暗淡的前景），“grey marker”（黑市）。

赤橙黃綠青藍(lán)紫……諸多美麗的色彩構(gòu)成五彩繽紛的世界，而無(wú)數(shù)的色彩詞以其豐富的含義更使人類的語(yǔ)言豐富多彩、風(fēng)趣動(dòng)人，使宇宙萬(wàn)物生輝。人們用色彩詞表達(dá)自己的喜怒哀樂(lè)、描繪自己的所見(jiàn)所聞，已經(jīng)成為表達(dá)和交流思想感情的常用手段。生活中如果沒(méi)有色彩，人們的眼前就會(huì)是一片黑暗；同樣，語(yǔ)言中缺少了色彩詞，語(yǔ)言也會(huì)顯得蒼白無(wú)力。
