Shangri-La Hotel, Hohhot now invites guests to indulge in the luxury of a holiday retreat with the hotel’s specially created Grassland Experience Package. The three-day, twonight or four-day, three-night packages are available from 11,800 yuan for two people inclusive of accommodation in a horizon deluxe room and deluxe Charriot Mongolian yurt, lifting the mysterious veil of Mongolian culture, traditions and landscape.

Hohhot—meaning “green city” in Mongolian—is the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and home to legendary warrior Genghis Khan. It has a diverse region of forests, deserts, mountains and grasslands,and has a minority culture. This package introduces guests to a new prairie experience as well as a cultural tour. Guests may indulge in the sight of the endless Gegentala Grassland dotted with small lakes, or revel in the unique Xiangshawan, a mysterious sounding sand bay.

Traditional Mongolian culture is found throughout the journey. Guests can enjoy a range of cultural pursuits such as the Mongolian traditional welcome ceremony,sumptuous Mongolian cuisine, traditional performances, Mongolian wrestling and Erdos traditional wedding ceremony as well as a variety of outdoor activities like camel riding,sand skating and sand sculptures.

The three-day, two-night Shangri-La Grassland Package costs 11,800 yuan for two people and includes:

● One night’s accommodation in a horizon deluxe room and one night in a deluxe Charriot Mongolian yurt, including breakfast;

● Hotel limousine transfer to Hohhot Baita International Airport;

● Round-trip chauffeured hotel limousine to either one of the following destinations:Cashmere Market, Muslim Cultural Street,Antique Market (Day 1 or 3);

● International buffet dinner in the hotel’s newly renovated Xin Café on Day 1;

● Two signature cocktails in the hotel’s Lobby Lounge on Day 1;

● Set lunch at the front row reserved VIP table and a traditional Mongolian cultural show on Day 2;

● Set dinner in the yurt VIP dining room prepared by Shangri-La’s culinary team on Day 1;

● Visits to the Gegentala Grassland, Qing Dynasty Prince’s Mansion and Lama Temple,Mongolian outdoor activities and an evening camp fi re gathering.

The four-day, three-night Shangri-La Grassland Package costs 16,800 yuan for two people and includes:

● Two nights’ accommodation in a horizon deluxe room and one night in a deluxe Charriot Mongolian yurt, including breakfast;

● Hotel limousine transfer to Hohhot Baita International Airport;

● Round-trip chauffeured hotel limousine to either two of the following destinations:Cashmere Market, Muslim Cultural Street,Antique Market, Dazhao Temple or Zhaojun Tomb (Day 1 or 4);

● International buffet dinner in the hotel’s newly renovated Xin Café on Day 1;

● Two signature cocktails in the hotel’s Lobby Lounge on Day 1;

● Two pre-set take-out lunch boxes prepared by Shangri-La to take along for the journey on Day 2;

● Set lunch at the front row reserved VIP table and a traditional Mongolian cultural show on Day 3;

● Set dinner in the yurt VIP dining room prepared by Shangri-La’s culinary team on Day 3;

The Grassland Experience packages are for two persons sharing one room and include all accommodation, meals, transportation and admission fees. Reservations are subject to room availability. All the prices are subject to a 15-percent service charge.
