1. be able to do sth 有能力做 / 能夠做 / 成功做

2. be afraid of 擔心，害怕

I’m afraid of his safety. He’s only an 8-year-old boy. Besides， it’s too late at night.

3. agree to do sth 同意做某事

Having been questioned several times， he finally agreed to tell the truth.
