Minnesota Town Elects 4-Year-Old Boy as Mayor for a Second Term美國明尼蘇達四歲鎮長獲連任

Robert Bobby Tufts hasn't made it to preschool yet， but he's already been elected twice as mayor of a tiny tourist town—Dorset， in northern Minnesota. Mayor Tufts' name was picked on August 4， 2013 during the annual Taste of Dorset Festival to be mayor of Dorset for a second term. Dorset has no formal city government and has a population of 22 to 28， depending on whether the minister and his family are in town. Bobby was only three when he won election last year. His mother Emma Tufts said her son's agenda includes raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley in Fargo， North Dakota， and a new welcome sign for Dorset， which bills itself as the Restaurant Capital of the World. They have already raised $750 from a walk this summer and plan to donate half the money of Sunday's T-shirt sales to the charity.

A Five-Star Hotel for Hens五星級母雞賓館

Around 700，000 Britons keep hens， according to a British Hen Welfare Trust. A luxury hen hotel has opened in order to cash in on （利用） this boom. The unusual hotel， called Fowlty Towers， is a comfortable resort that gives visiting hens a five-star， all-inclusive stay while their owners are away. The lodgings cost￡7 per coop （雞籠） per night but no cocks are allowed due to their noisy crowing that wakes up the neighbours. Each feathered guest can take a walk in 3ft. long runs attached to the enclosures and are let out once a day. In addition to pellets （顆粒飼料）， the hens are treated with vegetables and watermelon. Fowlty Towers is the brainchild of Julie Smith， who started looking after her own chickens to make her get out of bed early in the mornings. Despite owning 12 chickens of her own， Ms. Smith has launched the business after realizing people struggle to find anyone to look after their hens during holidays.

A 57-year-old man named Jim Dunbar from UK， who has been late for everything in his life， has had his chronic tardiness （拖延） diagnosed as a medical condition. He has been late for work， holidays， meals with friends， left women waiting on first dates and even had to sneak into funerals long after they've begun. It is thought that the condition is caused by the same part of the brain affected by those who suffer from Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder （ADHD） （注意力缺陷多動障礙）， and means Mr. Dunbar cannot properly estimate how long things take to complete. Mr. Dunbar said： \"The reason I want it out in the open is that there has got to be other folk out there with it， and they don't realise that it's not their fault.\"
