Shanghai Disney Resort performs as expected

Aug. 9， 2016 （China Travel News） -- In its first month of operation in June， Shanghai Disney Resort received 27，000 daily visitors and rang in 15 million yuan in revenue each day. Based on the daily visitor number in June， Shanghai Disney Resort is projected to receive 9.85 million visitors in the first year of operation. It is expected to generate 6.57 billion yuan in revenue per year， higher than Hong Kong Disneyland’s 4.39 billion yuan but far below Tokyo Disney Resort’s 30.4 billion yuan.
