From ancient age to modern time， Bama leaves us colorful and mysterious natural beauty. Water droplets dig the hardest rock， creating the prettiest stalagmite in Karst caves. With a naturally-formed shape resembling a Chinese character “Ming”， the Ming River is a symbol of life. It is said that the magical Ming River can cure many diseases. Taking a bamboo boat to tour along the Ming River is one of the cozy things. Every breath of air you take in carries a huge amount of oxygen. As you slowly pass the mountains and trees， the cool breeze can make you feel refreshed and more dynamic. Sometimes， local people will take footbath or swim in this river.

On the downstream of the Panyang River， the Ruli Taohuayuan Scenic Area boasts stunning scenery， with dense forests， green grass and the woods of peach trees， which can meet the needs of tourists who like to seek novelty. Lying in the river basin of Longhong Stream， Longhong Natural Scenic Area is an ideal place for vacation， with the Sword Testing Pool， Dressing-up Fairy Maiden and Guanyin Spring as its major scenic spots. Famous for its rurality， the Longhong Natural Scenic Area is embraced with green mountains and luxurious vegetation. Near the mountain top， there is an escarpment， which is like the face of a human being. Looking from afar， it is like the Guanyin （the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy） sitting there. At the foot of the mountain， there is the Happiness Spring， warm in winter and cool in summer. All this makes the mountain like a fairy maiden dressing up in front of the pool. There are two ancient Banyans growing opposite to each other on the banks of the river， looking like two old men shaking hands with each other， or a huge umbrella covering the surface of the river. When you take a boat through it， its leaves and branches will touch you. Near the entrance of the scenic area， four stone pillars are reaching high to the sky. Standing on the stone dam， you can have a bird’s view of the clean water and the green mountain.

The breathtaking Karst geography of Bama， as stunning as Guilin， is integrated perfectly into the primitive yet idyllic scenery， which is definitely worth visiting.

On this mysterious land full of attractions， Baimo Cave was firstly discovered by Chinese and English geologists in 1987 and regarded as the greatest Karst cave in the world. Entering the cave， you will marvel at its exquisite rock carving and shining stalactite formed by billions of years ago. With the Panyang River flowing through， Baimo Cave owns hundreds of sculpture-like formations such as the Fat Smiling Buddha and Roaring Lion， and groups of tall stone columns that are like great trees. As an ideal health resort rich in negative oxygen ion and natural spring water， the cave is believed to be the key factor for a long life. With the frog circulating in the cave， its scenery is mysterious and the temperature is mild. Besides the cave， there is a zigzag path leading to the top of the skylight. Everyday local people like to gather in front of the Baimo Cave to take leisure activities and to breathe fresh air circulating inside.

In the south part of the Baimo Cave， the Bainiao Cave is more magnificent， with similar cave landscape to the Reed Flute Cave in Guilin. The Panyang River comes out of the ground at this cave and then flows into the Hongshui River. There are numerous minor caves and bypaths inside， resembling a beehive， and a beach near the right section of the entrance where boats can berth. When the light reaches the water surface， it looks like a spotlight on the stage. The zigzag path in the cave runs 500 meters and joins another cave at the side entrance. Your eyes will always be occupied with so many things.

Situated in the northwest of the Bama County， the Crystal Palace is a typical Karst landscape with peaks， valleys and other great topographic features. After years of erosion， gorgeous sceneries are shaped in the Crystal Palace. The sediments， with dozens of types and shapes， are spotless white and exquisitely carved， leaving the cave with natural art treasures and scientific value.

If the Baimo Cave is a handsome gentleman， the Liuyang Cave shall be a coquettish lady. There are stalactites in various shapes： Some are like the goat， while the others look like a group of monkeys climbing the mountain. All of them are vivid and true to life. When you travelling in the cave， the noise of the flowing water， the fresh air and the gorgeous sceneries will make you relax and cozy， forgetting all the trivial matters in the daily life.
