1. What time do you go to school？

你什么時候去上學(xué)？

（1） what time意為“什么時候，幾點”，常用來對具體的時間提問，可以用when替換。如：

— What time does Jim go to bed？

吉姆什么時候睡覺？

— He goes to bed at ten oclock.

他十點鐘睡覺。

詢問“幾點鐘”的兩種表達方法：

What time is it？和Whats the time？

（2） time

① un. 時間

It will take some time to learn English well.

學(xué)好英語需要一段時間。

③times（復(fù)數(shù)形式）意為“時代，時期”或“倍數(shù)”

（1） get link v. 變得，成為

（2） dress v. 穿衣服

搭配：be dressed in 穿著……衣服

She is dressed in white today.

3. I never get up so early.

（1） never adv.“從未，決不”，反義詞：always（總是）。

We can say “John Brown” or “Mr. Brown”， but we can never say “Mr. John”.

Never mind.

比較：job和work

I find a job as a waiter.

I have too much work to do this afternoon.

在英語中，表達“幾點幾分”有兩種方法：順讀法和逆讀法。

（1） 順讀法：先說點后說分，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“點+分”。

2：53 two fifty-three

注意：整點數(shù)可用“基數(shù)詞+oclock”表示。如：

7：00 seven oclock

（2） 逆讀法：借助past或to，先說分后說點，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“分+past/to+點”。

①當分鐘數(shù)不超過30分鐘（包括30分）時，用介詞past，表示“幾點過幾分”，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“分+past+點”。

8：03 three past eight 9：30 half/thirty past nine

②當分鐘數(shù)大于30分鐘時，用介詞to，表示“幾點差幾分”，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“差的分鐘數(shù)+to+下一個時間點”。

（1） either

① adj.（二者中的）任何一個的，（二者間的）每一個的

注意：either of+名詞或代詞的復(fù)數(shù)作主語，謂語動詞一般用單數(shù)。

（2） either...or...意為“要么……要么……；或者……或者……”，連接兩個并列的成分。

Either he or I am right.

要么是他對，要么是我對。

Either come in or go out.

In many English homes people eat four meals a day. They have breakfast at any time from seven to nine in the morning. They eat porridge （粥）， eggs or bread and drink tea or coffee at breakfast.
