3. Is Peter tall or short？

這是一個(gè)選擇疑問句，其結(jié)構(gòu)是：一般疑問句+or+選擇內(nèi)容，其回答不能用Yes或No來直接回答，必須從二者中選其一，二者都選或都不選。

each adj. & pron. 每個(gè)，各自

（1） adj.“各自的，每個(gè)的”，后接單數(shù)名詞。

There are many trees on each side of the river.

河流兩岸有許多樹。

（2） pron.“各自，每個(gè)”，直接作主語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)。each單獨(dú)作主語(yǔ)或each修飾的單數(shù)名詞作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞為單數(shù)形式；each of+名詞復(fù)數(shù)作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，后面的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)，因?yàn)閑ach才是主語(yǔ)。

Each student should study hard.

每個(gè)學(xué)生都應(yīng)該刻苦學(xué)習(xí)。

because conj. “因?yàn)椤保碇苯釉颍卮饂hy的提問，一般放在主句之后。

注意：because與so不能同時(shí)出現(xiàn)在一個(gè)句子中。
