【摘要】英語教育作為課程教育中關鍵的課程,發揮著重要的作用,所以應不斷的創新和發展相關教育教學工作,使學生各項英語能力得到有效的提升。我國當前在英語本科教學中對高等合作教育模式的合理應用取得的效果非常顯著。本文根據高等合作教育模式在本科英語教學中運用的意義,進一步探究了高等合作教育模式在本科英語教學中的運用策略,以期為相關研究人員提供一定的參考。

1. Introduction
It was estimated by WTO that 137 million international tourists would visit China by 2020. The inbound tourists not only praise for magnificent rivers and mountains, but also interests in Chinas extensive and profound traditional culture. Therefore, how to attract and strengthen the education of Chinese traditional culture in Tourism English teaching has become the top priority in the current teaching process.
2. Significance of teaching Tourism English
To teach Tourism English, strengthening and inheriting Chinese culture is the need of excellent traditional culture, and also cross-cultural communication. However, it is regrettable that Tourism English teaching has not attracted enough attention. For example, in teaching process, some teachers only pay attention to English expression but ignore the connotation of English. Take a Chinese dish “夫妻肺片”as example, the translation of “Husband and Wife Lung Slice” is appalling. Instead, this dish would be more attractive and salivating if been introduced in this way: it is one of the most famous dishes in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, created by a couple. Its English name is translated as “Mr And Mrs Smith”. Besides, it is usually marinated with ox scalp, heart, tongue, belly and beef, and added with chili oil, pepper noodles etc. as auxiliary materials. So, the dish looks fine and beautiful, tastes tender, fresh, spicy and fragrant. Therefore, it is of great necessary to improve teaching materials and skills in Tourism English course to enhance the learners quality on Chinese traditional culture.
3. Teaching Application of Tourism English on Chinese traditional culture
3.1 Culture comparison
Teachers should explore the characteristics Chinese traditional culture and find out the corresponding fit in English culture. By doing so, learners would get a clear concept of the similarities and differences of Chinese culture and English culture. For example, Chinese Qixi festival (July 7 of lunar calendar) is similar as Western Valentines Day, but the difference only in that Valentines Day is too commercial in China, Qixi festival infers a sad and ancient love story of beauty.
3.2 Situational teaching
Situational teaching is viewed as a good way to combine Chinese traditional culture with Tourism English. For example, simulated real scene, one student plays a role of waiter to introduce a piece of famous Chinese food, and the other student who acts as foreign visitor to guess the dish. In this way, the observers could listen to other students during the course of teaching to improve the difficulty of task completion.
3.3 Multimedia equipment
Multimedia and other means are encouraged to use to show some relevant cultural pictures. For example, learners are told in Chinese way of expression, and asked to compare and discuss in English. In this process, students not only strengthen the ability of intercultural communication, but also relive the extensive and profound Chinese culture.
3.4 Extracurricular practice
Teachers should create extracurricular to lead students to scenic spots where foreign tourists often visits. Students can do the “absurdity” practice on the English translation of scenic spot introduction. If any error was found, the correct and appropriate translation should be given out. In all, this practice is very beneficial to the development of students upon them looking for a job.
3.5 Build an evaluation system on Tourism English teaching
The amounts of Chinese traditional culture knowledge, effective regulation, such as the content, the degree of difficulty for teachers should be assessed each semester for each Tourism English teacher. Evaluating students master, introduction, communication, ability to apply the Chinese traditional culture is importance by the end of each semester.
In all, Tourism English teaching is not only a communication way to serve foreign tourists, but also a channel to export Chinese traditional culture. Only by laying a good foundation in teaching process, can we have a place in the international tourism and cultural exchanges in the future and enhance the influence of Chinese culture in the world.
