慶祝改革開放40周年：央視推出紀錄片《我們一起走過》

China airs documentary commemorating reform, opening up

一部講述中國改革開放故事的18集紀錄片正在全國播出。這部紀錄片名為《我們一起走過》。該紀錄片講述了107個與改革開放有關的故事，采訪了183位時代潮流的親歷者。2018年是中國改革開放40周年。制作方表示，這部紀錄片展示了幾十年來中國發(fā)展的豐富成果，以及中國社會發(fā)生的重大變化。這部紀錄片由中共中央宣傳部和中央廣播電視總臺聯(lián)合制作，自12月2日在中央電視臺首播，每天播出兩集。

An 18-episode documentary featuring the stories of China's reform and opening up is broadcasting nationwide.The name of the documentary is “Wo men yi qi zou guo” in Chinese, meaning “we are all in this together.”The documentary includes 107 stories related to reform and opening up and interviews 183 people who have experienced the tide of the times, according to the producers.The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up.The producers said the documentary has shown the rich results of China's development over the decades and the significant changes that have taken place in Chinese society.The documentary, coproduced by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and China Media Group is scheduled to air two episodes a day since its debut on China Central Television on Dec. 2.

北京時間12月8日凌晨2時23分，長征三號乙運載火箭成功發(fā)射嫦娥四號月球探測器。利用著陸器和探測器，它的主要任務是探索月球的遠端，這是在地球上無法看到的一面。為了探索這一未知領域，第一個關鍵挑戰(zhàn)是保證與地球上的控制器通信。為此，中國于5月21日發(fā)射了嫦娥四號中繼衛(wèi)星——鵲橋，作為傳輸信號與數(shù)據(jù)的橋梁。除了開展中國三所大學的三個科學試點項目外，該月球探測器還將成為全球月球研究合作的平臺。該探測器將配備四個主要的科學有效載荷，由來自荷蘭、德國、瑞典、沙特阿拉伯和中國的科學家共同開發(fā)。

China successfully launched the Chang'e-4 lunar probe aboard a Long March 3B rocket at 2:23 a.m. BJT on December 8. With a lander and rover, its key mission is to explore the far side of the Moon, a side not visible from the Earth.People have been admiring the Moon for thousands of years, but the mysteries there are about to get a lot closer. Blasting off from Xichang Satellite Launch Center, China's Chang'e-4 lunar probe could be thefirst ever to soft-land on the far side of the Moon.The Moon's far side,or dark side, is not visible from the Earth due to a phenomenon called tidal locking.To explore this uncharted area, thefirst key challenge was to guarantee communication with controllers on Earth. On May 21, China launched Chang'e-4's relay satellite,Queqiao or Magpie Bridge, which serves as a perfect communication link.In addition to carrying out three scientific pilot projects developed by three Chinese universities, the rover will serve as a platform for global cooperation.The rover will be equipped with four major scientific payloads, which were jointly developed by scientists from the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Saudi Arabia and China.

Limited edition of lipstick collection by the Palace Museum

On December 29, the Palace Museum released its new series of product - limited edition of a lipstick collection in six colors on its online store, provoking excitement among netizens and fashion lovers. This is done by the Palace Museum Cultural and Creative Store, popular in recent years because of the cute and funny products it has released based on a historical theme. The packaging of the lipsticks was inspired by patterns from traditional Chinese porcelain and embroideries. Featuring the fairy cranes, lucky deer, butterflies and bees, and embellished byflowers like hydrangea and chrysanthemum, the patterns on the packaging shows a refined traditional Chinese beauty. Besides, by the use of 3D printing, the packaging also presents the texture of embroidery,which makes it nearly a delicate art piece.With a history of nearly 600 years, the Palace Museum has presented more modern characteristics in recent years, including releasing cultural and creative products to cater to the young.
