Zhang Yanhai， born in Dalian， coastal city of Northeast Chinas Liaoning province in 1951， graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Minzu University of China. As a well-known Chinese painter and writer， Zhang is a member of Chinese Artists Association， member of Chinese Writers Association， member and researcher of China Academy of Industrial Printmaking. He also serves as Vice Chairman of China Dalu Artists Association， and Deputy Dean of Dalu Institute of Fine Arts. As the founder， curator and one of the main organizers of Dalu Painting School， Zhang have been engaged in art creation activities since 1971， having a great impact on Chinese contemporary printmaking over the past four decades.

Since 1972， his works have been displayed at international and national large-scale fine arts exhibitions several times， receiving awards and being collected by many domestic and foreign art museums. His printmaking works have been given to friendly foreign countries as national gifts.

張衍海，著名畫家、作家。1951年生于大連，祖籍山東肥城。畢業于中央民族大學美術學院。中國美術家協會會員、作家協會會員；中國工業版畫研究院院務委員、研究員；中國大路美術家協會副主席、大路美術研究院常務副院長、大路版畫研究院院長。1971年開始從事美術創作活動，鐵道兵版畫主創畫家，大路畫派創始人、策展人、主要組織者之一，影響和帶動并在長達40多年的藝術實踐中奠定了其中國當代版畫主流畫派的地位。作品自1972年起多次入選全國大型美展、出國展覽，并多次獲獎及被中國美術館等多家國內外藝術館院收藏。版畫作品曾作為國禮贈送友好國家。出版畫集、畫冊及個人專著多部。藝術傳略被載入《世界名人錄》《中國文藝家傳記》《中國當代美術家詞典》等大型辭書。中國美協領導和美術界元老及多位專家都曾撰文評介張衍海的版畫藝術，同時也被《美術》雜志等國家權威刊物多次推介。上世紀90年代獲中華全國總工會、國家科委、國家教委、勞動部、人事部頒發的“全國職工自學成才獎”和文化部頒發的“全國群星獎”。
