The 9th China-U.S. Civil Peace Forum held in Beijing
From October 15 to 16, 2019, the 9th China-U.S. Civil Peace Forum jointly organized by the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament and the American Friends Service Committee was successfully held in Beijing. On November 15, the forum held a seminar on "40 years of China-U.S. Relations: Retrospect and Prospect". On June 16, the Forum held a dialogue on "Jointly Promoting the Comprehensive, Coordinated and Stable Development of China-U.S. Relations". Wang Yajun, CPAPD Adviser and Vice Minister of IDCPC, and Alan Beebe, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China attended the forum and delivered a speech. More than 50 experts and scholars from the IDCPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Institute of International Studies, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, representatives of entrepreneurs from China Metallurgical Science and Technology Group, Tus Holding Co., Ltd., Tsinghua Tongfang Co., Ltd., experts and scholars from the U.S. think tanks, and representatives of famous U.S. enterprises such as Johnson & Johnson and Qualcomm in China attended the forum.
