自2015年第一家翠峰咖啡茶館開(kāi)始營(yíng)業(yè)以來(lái)，翠峰茶園就吸引了眾多游客的目光，成為清萊最著名的旅游景點(diǎn)之一。由于第一家咖啡廳客流量過(guò)大，為了滿足需求，開(kāi)設(shè)了“翠峰咖啡茶館（二期）”。

Since the first Chouifong Tea Cafe began operation in 2015, the Chouifong plantation has gained plenty of tourists’ attentions and became one of the most famous tourist attractions in Chiangrai. Due to such an excess of tourists in the first cafe, Chouifong Tea Café (Phase II) is established in order to serve the need.

在二期階段，該項(xiàng)目包括一個(gè)可容納250個(gè)座位的餐飲區(qū)、一個(gè)大型紀(jì)念品商店和一個(gè)展覽區(qū)，工作人員在那里演示茶藝，并講述茶藝歷史。但是，該項(xiàng)目的主要關(guān)注點(diǎn)在于通用設(shè)計(jì)，因?yàn)樵诘谝患铱Х瑞^運(yùn)營(yíng)多年之后，事實(shí)證明，帶長(zhǎng)者的家庭是該項(xiàng)目的主要客戶。

In this second phase, the project consists of a dining area with 250 seats, a large souvenir shop and the exhibition area where its staffs demonstrate tea making, and where its histories are told. However, the significant concern in this project is the universal design because after the first cafe has been operated for years, it turns out that family groups with elders are the main clients of the projects.

The Chouifong Tea Cafe (Phase II) is located on the plantation hill near the first cafe. Before the operation of the cafe, there were factory and retail in the area, then the new cafe is built replacing the retail, near the factory, where beautiful view is seen. The designers propose the project’s floor to be in rectangular shape that allows most areas to face the view. Unlike the first cafe which was pressed into the land allowing visitors to see panoramic view, the Chouifong Tea Cafe (Phase II) stands on the hill because it has massive usable area and there is the existing factory nearby.

設(shè)計(jì)的主要理念是在不給殘疾人帶來(lái)不便的情況下，為游人提供清晰的種植園景觀和貼近自然環(huán)境的環(huán)境，因此設(shè)計(jì)必須有效地處理這些情況。為了拓寬斜坡區(qū)的風(fēng)景，餐飲區(qū)沿著陸地輪廓分成幾個(gè)梯級(jí)。這樣一來(lái)，每張桌子上的所有客戶都可以用不同的視角欣賞該景觀。而且，為防止就餐區(qū)遭遇大雨，增加了屋檐延伸的中間空間來(lái)覆蓋就餐區(qū)。在屋檐下，就餐區(qū)周圍設(shè)有坡道，使殘障人士能夠進(jìn)入所有平臺(tái)。

The main concept of the design is to provide visitors with clear plantation view and close to the natural surroundings without inconveniences for handicapped people, thus design must deal with these conditions efficiently. To widen the scenery in the slope area, the dining area is split into several steps following the land contour. This allows all customers from every table to see the view with different eye’s level. Moreover, to prevent the dining area from heavy rain, the in-between space with extended eaves is added to cover the dining area. Under the eaves, the ramp is provided surrounding the dining area, and this allow the handicapped to access all platforms.

基于大量的可用區(qū)域和業(yè)主的經(jīng)營(yíng)理念，咖啡館是一層建筑，建筑覆蓋了巨大的面積，所以建筑內(nèi)缺乏光線。除了使用不便和雨下維護(hù)的困難之外，設(shè)計(jì)還必須讓光線進(jìn)入室內(nèi)空間，如零售區(qū)、餐廳區(qū)和樹(shù)苑，并為這些區(qū)域提供防雨保護(hù)。因此，選擇天窗作為一個(gè)特色，覆蓋屋頂?shù)膸讉€(gè)位置。這些天窗的設(shè)計(jì)別具一格、獨(dú)一無(wú)二，具有很多優(yōu)勢(shì)。換句話說(shuō)，開(kāi)口未被具有許多接縫結(jié)構(gòu)的巨大玻璃平面覆蓋，而是每個(gè)玻璃平面拉伸并各自扭曲成錐形，因此僅使用一小塊玻璃平面，而沒(méi)有任何不美觀的接縫；通過(guò)這種設(shè)計(jì)，降低了天窗的成本。這種錐形開(kāi)口也有助于充分漫射整個(gè)區(qū)域的光，并在每個(gè)點(diǎn)中從不同的時(shí)間形成幾個(gè)圖案；這些洞口的體積很大，可以在其下面種植樹(shù)木，而且，這些天窗的布置與周圍的山巒很協(xié)調(diào)。

According to the large number of usable areas and the owner’s intention for the cafe to be one storey building, the building’s footprint covers an enormous size of the land, so the lack of light within the building is unavoidable. Along with another problem of inconvenience in usability and difficulty in maintenance from rain, the design must both let the light into interior spaces such as retail, dining area and tree court, and give the areas a protection from the rain. As a result, skylights are chosen as a feature to cover several spots of the roof. These skylights are designed to have special feature and unique characteristic to provide many advantages. In other words, openings are not covered by huge glass planes with many joint structure but each of them is extruded and differently distorted into cone-like shape, thus there is only a small piece of glass plane used without any unpleasant-to-eye joint; with this design, the skylights’ cost is reduced. This cone-like openings also help diffuse light sufficiently for entire areas, and create several patterns from different time in each spot; this openings’ volume is so immense that trees can be planted underneath them, also, these skylights are arranged harmoniously with the mountainous surrounding.

沿入口處的石墻，只留下一個(gè)空隙供游人進(jìn)入，其作為風(fēng)洞，游人可以直面吹來(lái)的風(fēng)。穿過(guò)這條隧道的過(guò)程中，昏暗的空間在通往餐廳的路上逐漸變得明亮起來(lái)，游客們可以在這里享受美食和欣賞種植園的景色。這個(gè)最近的項(xiàng)目的材料與第一個(gè)咖啡館相協(xié)調(diào)，使用松木、鋼材、玻璃，此外，還有山石。這些材料體現(xiàn)了翠峰的有機(jī)種植哲學(xué)。

Along the stone wall at the entrance area, only a void is left for visitors to enter and it acts as the wind tunnel that the visitors may face the blow of the wind as a welcome greeting. During moving through this tunnel, the dim atmosphere is gradually brightened along the way to dining area, where visitors enjoy their foods and plantation scenery. The materials of this recent project are harmonious with the first cafe by using pinewood, steel, glass and, additionally, mountain stone. These materials represent the Chouifong’s philosophy of the organic plantation.
