1、了解人們寫詩的原因并初步了解五種格式比較簡單的英文詩,同時學會欣賞詩歌,感受到詩的語言美,節奏美和韻律美。

一、課前預習
Warming up
Can you recite the Chinese traditional poems according to their English translation? 讓學生利用一切可能的工具去查找盡可能多的英文詩歌翻譯成中文,目的是讓學生了解和欣賞英文詩歌和中文詩歌表達方式的不同,同時對英文詩歌的種類有一個初步的認識。E.g:
(一)Where a yellow river climbs to the white clouds,
Near the one city, wall among ten, thousand ,foot mountains,
A Tartar under the willows is lamenting on his flute
That spring never blows to him through the Jade Pass
(二)Who is lovelier than she?
