該項目為光電產品綜合體廠房，位于占地46.7hm2（700 畝）的西安北方光電集團有限公司產業園的中部，由光學加工廠房、裝配廠房、精密機加廠房、環境試驗中心、生態中廳5 個部分組成，這5個部分有機地組合在一個261m×163m 的綜合體內，以其巨大的尺度構成園區建筑群的主體，既滿足了功能要求相對獨立，又縮短了物流，節省了用地。

廠房內主要生產光學產品，工藝流程為一部分原材料通過光學加工廠房進行初步加工，制成半成品后經由生態中廳運輸到裝配廠房進行半成品的裝配；另一部分原材料通過精密機加廠房進行初步加工，制成半成品后經由生態中廳運輸到裝配廠房進行半成品的裝配，然后再將上述兩部分半成品在裝配廠房中進行成品的組裝，最后由其東側的連廊將成品運輸到環境試驗中心進行成品的試驗和檢測。

目前我國光電行業機械化程度偏低，很多工序由人工操作完成。大量工人集中在一個空間中工作，工作環境單一、枯燥，無緩解壓力的空間場所，長此以往會有煩躁感，降低生產效率。

針對上述問題，本項目在室內空間環境的設計中，結合生態中廳進行了人性化的環境空間創造，意在為勞動者在勞動之余打造一系列放松、愜意的空間。生態中廳起到連接4 個不同功能廠房的作用，南北長155m、寬18m、高12m（二層高），在這條南北軸線上共設計了6 個室內空間環境節點，每個節點相隔35m 左右，通過合理的尺度劃分，在繁忙的工作環境中創造出舒適的空間。

建筑立面以不同的內部功能為出發點，精密機加廠房考慮到噪音和振動因素設計中以“實”為主；環境試驗中心以“虛”為主，工藝生產要求有充足的自然采光，所以在其外觀設計上采用玻璃幕墻形成通透的立面，這樣便形成南立面一“實”一“虛”的外觀，使兩者既能相互烘托突出各自的特點，又巧妙地結合在一起，營造出干凈、利落、親人的工業建筑室外環境。

This project is a complex of photoelectric product plant located in the middle of industrial park of North Optoelectronics Group Co. Ltd. which covers about 46.7 hm2area. It consists of an optical processing workshop, an assembly workshop, a precision machining workshop, an environment testing centre, and an ecological hall and combines these 5 parts organically within a compound of 261 m by length and 163 m by width. With its huge scale, the project constitutes the main body of the buildings in the industrial park, which not only meets the relatively independent functional requirement, but also shortens the logistics and saves the land.

The workshop is mainly producing optical products. One part of raw materials are initially processed through the optical processing workshop,and then semi-finished products are transported to the assembly workshop through the ecological hall for assembly; the other part of raw materials are dealt primarily in the precision machining workshop, and its semi-finished products are also transported to the assembly workshop through the ecological hall. Two parts of semi-finished products mentioned above are assembled in the workshop,and finally transported through the hallway on the east side to the environment testing centre, to make experiment and testing.

At present, the degree of mechanisation in photoelectric industry of China is low, and thus many processes rely on manual operations. A large number of workers gathering together in one place with monotonous and boring setting and depressive atmosphere tend to feel upset, and reduce productivity.

To solve problems above mentioned, this project creates human-centred environment in combination with the ecological hall in interior design, aiming to create a series of relaxed, comfortable space for workers in their spare time. The ecological hall connects 4 different workshop, with 155 m long, 18 m wide and 12 m high (2-storey). On this north-south axis, 6 internal lounge space nodes are designed. One node is about 35 m away from another. With reasonable scale, it is capable to provide an easy space for people in the busy working place.

The design of fa?ades of the building is based on different internal functions. Considering the noise and vibration, the precision machining workshop is mainly "solid", while the environment testing centre is mainly "void", as production requires enough sunlight,so glass curtain wall is adopted to demonstrate transparency. In this way, on the south elevation,it appears solid and void, which not only sets each other off to highlight their own features, but also ingeniously combines them together, creating a clean,neat, and friendly outdoor environment of industrial architecture.
