地點介紹是英語說明文寫作的一種。介紹一個地方通常會涉及該地的地理位置、占地面積、人口、歷史、文化、風景特色、飲食等，也可適當融入人文風貌，簡單介紹該地區的風土習俗以及人們的生活方式等，描寫應注意詳略得當，不可主次不分。

?寫作指導

Step 1 謀篇布局

1.時態：一般敘述用一般現在時和現在完成時，涉及歷史典故則用過去時。

2.人稱：以第三人稱為主。

3.說明順序：一般從基本情況（地理位置、面積、人口）到延伸內容（文化等）。

4.文章結構：第一部分引出介紹對象，第二部分具體說明，第三部分作出總結。
