文章敘述的是一個令人驚心動魄的冒險故事。正在海洋上空一萬英尺飛行的飛機，由于飛行員艾倫突然昏厥，飛機上另外兩名乘客哈里森和弗蘭克不得不臨時駕駛飛機，他們在塔臺工作人員的指導下控制好飛機，最終安全著陸，化險為夷。

一、遇險境——飛行員突然暈倒，飛機失控

4.Harrison answers immediately,“What does that mean?”“I don't know.My head is killing me! 7.An ambulance rushes Ken Allen to the nearby Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, where he is diagnosed with an aortic dissection, a tear in the inner layer of the aorta that is often fatal.Doctors operate on him immediately,and he is expected to make a full recovery.救護車迅速將肯·艾倫送往附近的棕櫚灘花園醫療中心，在那里他被診斷出患有主動脈夾層，這是一種主動脈內層的撕裂，通常是致命的。醫生立即為他做了手術，他有望完全康復。

Huggons dialed the emergency call, and the operator warned him not to enter the house.But Huggons said,“There is no way I am going to hear Sibson scream and die in that fire.”

“Anyone there?”Huggons called out.Then he heard“Help! I'm trapped!”coming from the second floor balcony.He entered the house, but soon had to run back to catch his breath.

After one more attempt to get inside the house, Huggons gave up and circled around back.The wind parted the smoke just enough for him to catch sight of Sibson.But there was no way to get to him.

It was May 2018, and my boyfriend, Gabe Smith, and I were driving from my home in Weyburn,to visit friends in Nelson.

At around 5：30 pm, we were driving along the Crowsnest Highway, a steep and winding mountain road.I was texting my mother when I happened to look up in time to see a huge tree in front of us on the highway.It was being pushed down by a torrent (洪流) of mud that was swallowing everything in its path.We didn't know about the recent flooding in the area, and now we were trapped in it.Gabe and I looked at each other unbelievably and said,“Oh,God.”Within seconds,our car was rolling 30 meters down to the cliffside.

I don't know how long we were unconscious, but I woke up to the sound of Gabe's moaning(呻吟).He laid beside me and his blood was everywhere.

Our car had landed on a small area among trees that had come down with the mudslide.On one side of us was the mountain.On the other side was a steep drop of about 1000 meters into a river.

I tried opening my door with a sharp pain in the chest.In addition, my left ankle had been broken.Gabe had broken his nose and cheek, as well as his chest bone, leaving him blind in his left eye and having difficulty in breathing.

As the doors were crashed out of shape, and my window failed to be opened, the only way out was through the driver's side window.Although it was difficult and painful,we both managed to get out of it.
