ＣＰＡＦＦＣ Ｄｅｌｅｇａｔｉｏｎ Ｖｉｓｉｔｓ Ｂｒａｚｉｌ ａｎｄ Ａｒｇｅｎｔｉｎａ

At the invitation of the World Organization of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG)， and Paraguayan Association of Friendship with P.R. China and Argentina (Rosario City)-China Friendship Association， a CPAFFC delegation led by its president Chen Haosu attended the first meeting of the Executive Bureau of the UCLG in Sao Paulo City of Brazil and then paid a goodwill visit to Argentina from October 5 to 13， 2004. Argentine Vice President Daniel Scioli， and Secretary of State for Culture Torcuato Ti Tella met with the delegation respectively. CPAFFC President Chen Haosu and his party held a working meeting with the Paraguayan Association of Friendship with P.R. China in Iguazu， Brazil and established contacts with the Paraguay-China Cultural， Commercial and Industrial Chamber. In Argentina the delegation exchanged views with representatives of the associations of friendship with China and friendly personages on the convening of the Third Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Associations and Personalities of Friendship with P.R. China in November 2005.

In his meeting with the CPAFFC delegation， Argentine Vice President Scioli said， now it’s the best time for the two countries to find common points and further develop Argentina-China friendly relations. The leaders of the two countries exchanged visits within half a year， which is conducive to raising bilateral relations to the highest level. The two countries should not only develop political， economic and trade ties， but also push all-round development in various social aspects including culture， sports， etc. Argentina has become a destination of Chinese tourists. The Argentine Government welcomes more Chinese to visit Argentina. Chen Haosu said， the CPAFFC is ready to carry out activities for closer friendship between the peoples of the two countries so as to lay a solid foundation for the development of bilateral relations.
