Thank you very much!

Dear Mr. Wood,
I'm a Grade 8 student. My classmates love you very much. If you visit our school, you will see it.
Mr. Wood, I want to know how kangaroos live. Can you tell me? Are they endangered in the future? Do you like to eat wild animal? Some people like to eat wild animals. I don't think that's right. How do you think about it?
Can I have a photo of you as well?
See you soon hopefully.
Yours sincerely,
Joe
Dear Joe
I'm glad you ask me about kangaroos. They are my favorite animals. There are over 60 different species of kangaroo type animals belonging to the \"macropod\" (great foot) family. This family includes wallabies, wallaroos and the very rare tree kangaroos. The most common kangaroos are the red kangaroos of central Australia, and three varieties of Grey Kangaroos.
Together these groups make up a population of around 50 million. The largest kangaroo is the red kangaroo which can grow up to 210cm tall. The smallest is the Musky Rat-kangaroo. It lives in the tropics of far north Australia and grows to around 23cm long. Kangaroos, like most Australian animals, are nocturnal. They come out to eat mainly grass at sunrise and sunset. They sleep during the daytime. Their color also makes it hard sometimes to spot them amongst the trees and grass. If I go for a walk, I
may not notice them until I notice one pair of ears, then I will realize I am in the middle of a mob. They are very shy, so they will jump away very quickly.
There is some hunting permitted of some of the common varieties of kangaroo. Kangaroo leather, fur and meat is a small, but growing industry.
I believe eating animals is cruel, but I still eat meat every day. I admire my lovely wife because she's a vegetarian because she believed eating animals was wrong. I would like to be like her, but unfortunately, I enjoy eating meat, so I must live with this double standard.
Yours truly,
Matthew
Dear Matthew,
I've always wanted to write to you, but I'm afraid you couldn't understand me. Of all the subjects, I like English best, but no matter how hard I study, my English is just so-so. I don't know why.
I don't like my English teacher. I couldn't fit his way to teach. Does this influence my study? Recently, I'm always absence of mind in class, I feel so tired and upset. I have totally lost my confidence with the coming exams. How can I do it better?
Please write to me soon.
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely,
Qiuju
Dear Qiuju,
You shouldn't be afraid I won't understand you. I always have trouble being understood in China, \"university\" is hard for me to pronounce correctly in Chinese, but it never stops me trying.
It's good that you like to study English, but remember it's not about studying hard, but studying smart. What do you like about English? Is it writing, reading, speaking or listening? I like trying to read and write Chinese the most. I think Chinese characters are very interesting, especially the history and meaning. My spoken Chinese is very embarrassing, but I'm told I sing Chinese songs well.
I'm sorry you don't like your teacher, but if that's the case, you must find your own way to educate yourself. Writing this letter is a very good start. Good teachers make classes interesting and relevant, but good students will show initiative and the ability for self-learning.
The most important thing is that you enjoy English, and because you do, I believe you will succeed.
Yours truly,
Matthew
