The northeast has a lot of firsts in the history of China's industrial development,including the first automobile factory--FAW.Due to the system problem and many other complicated factors,quite a number of the north- eastern industry enterprises are out of date during the China's economic transition period.However,the automobile industry in this region keeps vibrant and develops quite well.In order to revitalize the old northeast industrial base,our state department has decided promulgate a series of policies in the old northeast-ern industrial base in the same breath of the western region.
