China to impose deposit onadipic acid imports as anti-dumping measure
Starting June 27, China will require a security deposit on adipic acid from the Republic of Korea, the European Union and the United States as a temporary anti-dumping measure, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said in a statement on June 25. The decision followed a preliminary ruling of the MOC saying the three countries had dumped adipic acid on the Chinese market, which it said had caused substantial damage to the domestic sector.
