Floors which can breath， leftovers used for electricity generationas well as walls which can give out light and hold temperature， etc. all are the newesthigh-techs applied in the zero-carbon pavilion at the Shanghai Expo. Zero-carbonpavilion is the first public building with zero carbon emission. Besides using the tra-ditional solar energy and wind energy to meet the demand of the pavilion for energy，zero-carbon pavilion will also take water from Huangpu River.
