Shengsi County enjoys an advanta-geous geographical location and abun-dant natural resources. A neighbor ofShanghai， it is located near the mouth ofthe Changjiang (Yangtze) River that di-vides China's north and south. As a gate-way to the Yangtze Valley and Shanghai，it serves as an important logistical transitcenter of the Yangtze River Delta andeastern China as well as an industrialbase for processing over 500 kinds ofaquatic products.
