一、教學目標

Step 1 Leading-in

設計意圖：教師通過“抱怨自己的新鄰居給自己帶來的煩惱，詢問該怎么辦”這一情景導入新課，怎樣禮貌地提出請求，并復習學習過的提出請求的方式。

Step 2 Presentation

設計意圖：教師通過設計Marry要舉辦聚會的情景，并展示她家凌亂的房間圖片。學習使用Would youminddoing...？Wouldyoumindnotdoing...？句型及其回答。配合多媒體展示多張圖片，讓學生兩人一組操練句型，達到熟練運用語言的目的。

Step 3 Pairwork

Practice making conversations by using the target language:

“Would youmind doing...？”or“Would youmind not doing...？”

Step 4 Listening 1a

1.Look at the pictures and I’ll ask students to read the dialogue in the picture.

2.Point to the four requests in the box.Read each phrase to the class and get students to repeat it.Ask students to explainwhateach onemeans.

3.Thengetstudents towrite the letterofeach requestin the correctplacein thepicture tomatch the requestswith thepeople.

4.Correct theanswer.

1.Ask differentstudents to look atthe listof requestsin Activity1a.

2.Play the recorder.

設計意圖：通過聽力訓練提高學生的聽力水平。

Step 7 Group-work

Four students isa group.Acta shortplay aboutan annoying thing in your life andmake requests in a politeway.Others students find thatwho is thebestperformer.

設計意圖：學校正在創建“美麗校園，文明相伴”。你看到一個同學的不文明行為，前去制止。構思情節，要用上Would youmind(not)doing sth.?的句型。4人一組。此項活動既鍛煉了學生在現實生活中運用語言的能力，又對學生進行了思想教育，做一個文明的中學生。

設計意圖：語言的落實最終還是要能寫出來。最后這一環節讓學生整理一下思路，用目標語言來完成任務。

五、教學總結

本節課以Marry要舉辦生日聚會，她要使用禮貌的語言請求她的丈夫做某事和不做某事這個情節為切入點，展示目標語言，充分體現以“學生為主體，教師為主導”的教學思想；“以學生為中心，以任務為主”的教學原則。設計多樣的“任務”，讓學生在快樂中參與，完成。其中有兩個小組和4人一組的活動。活動都是在一定的語境和情景中進行的，學生的聽、說、讀、寫在活動中得到充分鍛煉。突出培養學生用英語做事和用英語進行交流的理念，創造性地使用了英語，學以致用。在教學中滲透思想教育，教育學生做一個講文明懂禮貌的人。
