Happy Children’s Day！

Children’s Day is coming. But Little Cat has got a bad cough and a high fever. So he had to （原形have to 不得不）stay at home.

On Children’s Day， there’s a party at school. All the students are singing and dancing. But， Little Cat is not here， he is still（仍然）ill. Little Pig thinks that it’s a pity（遺憾） that Little Cat’s absent（缺席）.

So he wants to celebrate（慶祝） Children’s Day for Little Cat.

Then he goes to see Little Cat with other classmates.

“Peng， Peng， Peng，” the Little Cat’s doorbell（門鈴） is ringring.

“Come in，” says Little Cat

slowly.

“Happy Children’s Day! Little Cat!” All of them say happily and run into his room. Little Cat is so surprised（驚奇）. Little Pig gives Little Cat a basket of fruit. Little Dog gives some flowers to him. Little Duck sings a beautiful song for him...

“Aha! It’s Children’s Day today. We are so happy. Let’s play games together， OK？” Says

Little Horse sincerely(真誠地).

“OK!” All the classmates agree（同意）.

They play the game “Bingo”“What’s missing？”“Hide and

Seek（捉迷藏）”...

The game “Hide and Seek” is very interesting. Little Pig is very fat， so he is always to be found（發現） easily（容易地）. But Little Cat is very slim（苗條）， he can hide himself secretly（秘密地）. They hardly（幾乎不） find him. Although（雖然） Little Cat is ill， he feels（感覺） better（更好） after playing the game.

They have a good time all the afternoon. Little Cat thinks it is the most special（特殊的） Children’s Day.
