On January 12, The world of Chinese was once again invited to welcome spring with Yew Chung International School at the YCIS Temple Fair. we held mask and lantern painting sessions for students of all ages, who delighted us with their creativity and talent.
Protecting china’s cultural heritage
On February 3, The world of Chinese publishers went to Tianjin University to visit internationally renowned artist Feng Jicai, who serves as the vice chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC). Besides his writing and painting work, Feng heads an eponymous art and literature school, and his dedication to cultural heritage protection earned him the moniker “guardian of Chinese culture.” The two sides exchanged ideas on preserving folk culture and cultural media. China Youth Daily reporter Li Guijie accompanied them on the visit.
Twoc design honored
The world of Chinese won the Silver Prize (the highest awarded honor this year) in the First Art Design Contest of Publications in Chinese. Hosted by the China Media Culture Promotion Association and the Chinese Academy of Press and Publication, the contest considered 892 publications from over 400 institutions on the Chinese mainland as well as in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The award ceremony was held on January 7 in Beijing.
