Introduction

The journal “Transactions of Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute” has been issued since 1941.The journal publishes scientific papers on ship theory，design of offshore engineering structures，hydrodynamics，structural mechanics，power plants，ship physical signatures，technical regulations and other shipbuilding challenges.The Chairman of the editorial board is V.M.Pashin，Academician，KSRI Director.Editor-in-Chief is Professor V.L.Maslov.The journal is issued six times a year.Each issue is generally topic-oriented.The papers are in Russian.The full texts of the papers are available at MK-Periodical agency （http∶//www.periodicals.ru/index.phtml）.Titles and abstracts of the papers in English can be found on web-site http∶//www.ksri.ru/rus/eng1/act/pub2.htm.
