Wan-go Weng is a well-knownChinese-American socialactivist. His original ancestral home isChangshu， Jiangsu Province. He wentto the United States in 1938 to studyelectrical engineering. After graduation，he taught in universities in the UnitedStates. Later， he shifted his interestto studying and propagating Chinesetraditional culture， becoming a pioneerof disseminating Chinese traditionalculture not only in the United Statesbut throughout the West.
