In Tokyo， the JCFC held a recep- tion in their honor. Satsuki Eda， former President of the House of Councilors， top advisor to the Democratic Party and current President of the JCFC， and lead- ing officials of the relevant departments of Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education and Science attended. Mr. Eda extended his warm welcome to the delegation sent by the CJFA at a time when the Japan-China relationship faced some difficulties.
