Madrid Conference Center is located in the heart of the city, close to the best restaurants and shopping centres, near \"Nuevos Ministerios\" metro station and in front of Real Madrid stadium, the Santiago Bernabeu.

Its main activity is the renting of its facilities to celebrate congresses, meetings, exhitibions, etc, as well as the render of services required to organise these activites.
Madrid Conference Center is a key reference within the meeting, incentive and convention market in Madrid and Spain. Its exceptional benefits contribuite to place the venue among the leading convention centres of Europe: location in the heart of the financial district of the city; multipurpose facilities with an Auditorium for 1,909 delegates, meeting rooms for a maximum of 400 people, and an exhibition area of more than 3,000 sqm; and a wide experience hosting congresses and exhibitions for more than 35 years.
The building is the work of the architect Pablo Pintado y Riba (1924-2007), who won the public competition to which 16 projects were presented. The success of his project lied in the novelty of having two adjacent stages which could be used together or separately.
In 1989 Madrid Conference Center was again the international focus of attention with the celebration of the closing of the Spanish Presidency of the European Economic Community which took place in the first Semester of that year. Its facilities were renovated during 8 months to be adequate for the events related to the closing, but also the congresses and exhibitions that were held in the venue. The 15th of March 1998 took place a fire that destroyed part of the building; however, the activity of the center went on very soon after that.
