
At the turn of the year, the “vaccine accident” disturbed the peace of China. From November to December in 2013, two babies in Hunan Province had serious adverse reactions after getting Hepatitis B vaccination. Later, there were suspected cases of abnormal reactions of Hepatitis B vaccination in Guangdong and Sichuan Province and Shenzhen City. The cruel reality of the 18 children’s death instantly evoked vaccine safety concerns among the public, and drew people’s attention to Hepatitis B disease.
