Zhejiang Exported Goods (Osaka) Fair

Since 2008， Zhejiang Exported Goods （Osaka） Fair has been held in September each year. Organized by Zhejiang Broad International Convention Exhibition Co.， Ltd. To this day， six sessions have been successfully organized， and it is also the biggest Chinese self-organized fair abroad on provincial level. In the past six years， the fair received a total of 330，000 Japanese trade visitors， and an overall turnover of 360 million US dollars.

In 2013， there were 360 booths， the body of the exhibits were customer goods， small gifts， ornaments， furniture， clothing， garments， sea foods， beddings， outdoor equipments， covering 550 categories. The fair also received support from the economic development sections. After visiting the fair， a Japanese official acclaimed that the fair for fine design and the exhibits diversity， the quality of the trade visitors， and the positive feedback of the Japanese trade visitors.

The 2014 fair showed three distinctive features. First， there was a stricter screening process of the exhibitors and exhibits. Considering the consistency requested in opening the Japanese market， about 60% of the exhibitors were participating with exhibits that suited the Japanese market.

Secondly， the organizer of the fair increased the publicity promotion effort. The biggest professional media in the fiber field published several feature report before and during the exhibition. On the exhibition days， crowds of trade visitor could be seen everywhere.

Right two months away from the opening of the exhibition， the organizer of the exhibition cooperated with Japanese partners for batter trade effect by matching the product information with Japanese trade visitors’ purchasing demand. The organizer set up negotiation section and arranged staff to lead pre-appointed visitors to exhibitors， so that the two sides to go down into details. It proved a very effective measure for businesses to reach deals and know each other better.

Ms. Cui Chen， Chairwoman of the co-organizer， Zhejiang Broad International Convention Exhibition Co.， Ltd， said that the 2014 fair will be held from 9 to 12 September， 2014 in Hall No.2 of INTEX OSAKA. The exhibition floor this year is expected to be 6，729 square meters， divided into three sections： clothing and textile， daily consumer goods and gifts， and emergency and energy-saving products. The exhibition will echo the call of the Zhejiang Government of “open new markets， stimulate Consumption， expand investment， display advantages， and enhance services”， and introduce quality and featured goods to overseas market， and boost the brand image of ”Made in Zhejiang“ in Japan through the exhibition platform.
