Three Oranges

Long long ago， there was a little boy named（名叫） Lu Ji. He was only six years old， but he was very clever and kind*.

One day， Lu Ji’s father took him to visit a friend named Yuan Shu.* Yuan Shu gave Lu Ji some oranges. Lu Ji loved the oranges very much， and he put three oranges in his sleeves（袖子） secretly*.

有一天，陸績的父親帶他去拜訪一個叫袁術的朋友。

When Lu Ji said goodbye to Yuan Shu， he bowed（鞠躬） and the three oranges in his sleeves rolled out*.

Yuan Shu said， “My boy， why did you hide the three oranges？ It’s not polite（禮貌的） to do that as a guest.*” Lu Ji answered， “Sorry， Uncle Yuan. I think the oranges are very sweet*， so I want to take some home for my mum.”
