CHINESE NEW YEAR

The Chinese New Year is coming. It is very popular（受歡迎的） in China， because we can have a long holiday. But we must do many things to get ready for（為……做準備） it.

First， we will clean our house. It will sweep away（掃去） bad luck. Second， we will have a big dinner. The dinner is delicious and we often eat dumplings. Eating dumplings will bring us good luck. Third， we will make wishes for the next year. Chinese people believe making wishes can also bring us good luck. Fourth， we will set off firecrackers（放鞭炮）. It means we will have a lucky future.
