102歲老奶奶賽車 180邁仍嫌慢

At 102， Edith Pittenger is having more fun than people half her age.

雖然已經102歲高齡，但伊迪絲·皮滕格的生活比很多50幾歲的人都要有趣刺激。

A great grandmother was treated to 180-mph laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway—a breathtaking feat she only wishes was faster.

這位偉大的老奶奶在印第安納波利斯賽車場挑戰了180邁（約每小時290千米）賽車，對于這一動人心魄的速度她還嫌慢。

“He said 180 is the maximum，” the courageous Edith Pittenger told The Star Press of her incredible ride while seated behind none other than racing legend Mario Andretti.

“I wanted to do 200， but he wouldn’t do that，” she cheekily said.

At the age of 96 the Muncie resident took her first laps around the Speedway with Dutch driver Arie Luyendyk Jr.

Then four years later to celebrate her 100th birthday the young-at-heart grandmother went parasailing.

Asked if she was ever nervous about getting back in the passenger seat， she readily answered： “No！”

And if she lives long enough to take another spin， she says she’ll be ready to go again.
