普羅旺斯的薄荷綠

沿著蜿蜒的道路進(jìn)入普羅旺斯，在臨近阿爾皮勒山脈的Eygalieres古鎮(zhèn)旁，有一條不知名的小路，周?chē)N滿(mǎn)了蔥郁的橄欖樹(shù)，繼續(xù)往下走，一座美麗的宅邸便映入眼簾。它坐落在一片廣闊的草地上，石頭立面上嵌有薄荷綠色彩的門(mén)窗，仿佛是來(lái)自于童話故事里的叢林之屋。陽(yáng)光普照著這片土地，讓宅邸和其庭院充滿(mǎn)了田園詩(shī)意。這是一座精致的度假別墅，一座舒適的退休房，抑或只是一處能讓人無(wú)拘無(wú)束地做做白日夢(mèng)的完美住所。

房子建于90年代，David Price Design受現(xiàn)任業(yè)主的委托，要對(duì)其進(jìn)行改造，使其成為一座能容納19人居住的理想度假之屋。設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)通過(guò)重新修整室內(nèi)空間的布局及結(jié)構(gòu)，對(duì)室外園林進(jìn)行重新改造，翻新和擴(kuò)建了一系列客房小屋，并在住宅一側(cè)開(kāi)鑿了一個(gè)全新的泳池和建造了一間池邊小屋，由此打造出一座別致的普羅旺斯度假別墅。設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)根據(jù)業(yè)主的需求，對(duì)主住房進(jìn)行了改造，將原先的多個(gè)小房間合并為一個(gè)寬敞的餐廚空間。電視廳經(jīng)過(guò)了重新布局，并拆除了原有的一面外墻，將餐廳從室內(nèi)空間無(wú)縫過(guò)渡至風(fēng)景優(yōu)美的室外空間。室外餐區(qū)位于新搭建的紫藤藤架下，被一片盎然綠意所包圍，陽(yáng)光透過(guò)藤蔓間的縫隙投射在餐桌上，形成了斑駁的光影，夏天的時(shí)候十分適合在此用餐。主住房里的所有墻面和天花板均粉刷成了干凈的白色，擴(kuò)建后的廚房采用了石板地面，與房子里其余空間的地面相得益彰。David Price Design還通過(guò)用傳統(tǒng)工藝技術(shù)將回收的船只木板改造為橫梁，并將其運(yùn)用于從電視廳到一層后部空間的天花板上，頗有復(fù)古懷舊的韻味。設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)也為本案量身定制了各種家具，其中包括電視桌、客廳沙發(fā)、由木材與金屬制成的咖啡桌以及由回收橡木制成的大理石桌面廚房中島臺(tái)，中島臺(tái)背后的墻面上有一個(gè)特制的內(nèi)置式陳列架，用于展示業(yè)主收藏的各種富有當(dāng)?shù)靥厣膫鹘y(tǒng)陶器罐。樓上則主要涵蓋了臥室及浴室，浴室的布局都經(jīng)過(guò)了改造，衛(wèi)浴設(shè)施是由設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)定制設(shè)計(jì)的，而寬敞的主臥試衣間里的橡木衣櫥以及兒童房里的雙層童床也都是專(zhuān)門(mén)定制的。除了對(duì)房屋進(jìn)行改造以外，設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)還擴(kuò)建了幾個(gè)功能齊全的獨(dú)立客房小屋，當(dāng)有客人來(lái)訪時(shí)便可招待他們?nèi)胱　?/p>

新建的池邊小屋位于泳池邊上，是一座由當(dāng)?shù)厥規(guī)r制威的建筑，與周?chē)淖匀幻谰叭跒橐惑w。按業(yè)主需求，設(shè)計(jì)團(tuán)隊(duì)在池邊小屋里加入了淋浴間、洗手間和小廚房，并將它們單獨(dú)設(shè)立在小屋背部，而面向泳池的空間里則擺放了三張定制的長(zhǎng)條形沙發(fā)。沙發(fā)底座由混凝土制成，椅座上放置了Sunbrella品牌的襯墊，燈具則采用了Nina Laty為Nautic品牌設(shè)計(jì)的產(chǎn)品。池邊小屋的百葉窗由熱帶硬木材制成，并采用了垂直式的鉸鏈面板設(shè)計(jì)，保證了空氣流通。

新建的游泳池由混凝土制成，其材質(zhì)采用了特殊的渲染效果，呈現(xiàn)出優(yōu)雅的藍(lán)灰色色調(diào)。泳池與池邊小屋之間也有一個(gè)涼亭，其鍛鐵構(gòu)架是由當(dāng)?shù)罔F匠打造而成的，頂層鋪陳的材料則由植物編織而威，能有效遮擋住光線，且富有濃郁的自然氣息。

Down a winding road in Provence， near to the ancient town of Eygalieres in the Alpilles mountains， a small unmarked track， dotted witholive trees， leads off from the road， with no sign of what lies beyond. In fact， the track leads to a stunning Provencale house set inextensive grounds； exactly the kind of property that helped create the area's reputation in the first place as a sun-kissed rural idyll and theperfect location for a holiday home， retirement home - or just a great place to spend time， relax and day-dream！The house was built in the 1990s， from scratch， by a local architect on a previously-empty plot. David Price Design was commissionedby the property's current owners to remodel the house further， helping create an ideal holiday home that sleeps 19 people in total， throughthe creation of both a new interior floorplan and structure， the re-planning of the external landscaping； the refurbishment and extension ofa series of guest cottages and the design and installation of a brand new pool and pool house.However， the project soon became much larger and went on to include the reconfiguring of themain house to suit the new owners' requirements - making a single large kitchen out of a seriesof smaller rooms， for example； creating a remodeled television room and knocking through anexternal rear wall in order to create an extended double dining room with a seamless transitionto a beautiful outdoor dining space， enhanced by a new pergola with overhanging wisteria， forsummer dining. Inside the main house， where all walls and ceilings have been rendered andpainted in a cooling white， the new， hugely-enlarged kitchen was given a new flagstone floor tomatch other existing flooring in the house. A TV room to the back of the ground floor has a newceiling， made in the old traditional way by David Price Design， using reclaimed boards fromboats as beams. New， bespoke furniture wasalso created where needed by David PriceDesign， including a TV station， living roomsofa， coffee tables in timber and metal andthe main new kitchen island， which is inreclaimed oak with a marble top with specialdisplay shelves at each end， used to exhibitthe owner's stunning collection of localtraditional earthenware jugs. Upstairs， as wellas the new bathrooms， further bespoke areasinclude an extensive master bedroom dressingarea， lined with cupboards and drawers in oak，as well as new bunk beds for the children.Once the house had been remodelled， workswere also done to a number of smaller guesthouses in the grounds， which were renovatedand extended in order to serve as fully-functioning guest quarters.

The pool house， which fits into the landscapebeautifully， is a three-sided building， createdusing local limestone. The new owners askedfor the building to incorporate a shower room，toilet and kitchenette， but for the service areasto be located separately at the back of thepool house， with the front completely openwith a three sided banquette-sofa created tofit the space inside. This bespoke seating wasformed of a concrete base， dressed in fabrics（from Sunbrella） and surrounding lamps （fromNautic） by Nina Laty， head of interior designat David Price Design. Shutters all around thepool house are made from tropical hardwoodin a series of vertical hinged panels， whichgive complete control over ventilation.The new pool is made of concrete and isfinished in a special render to give it aparticularly lovely blue-grey colouring. Apergola is also situated between the pool andthe pool house. This was made in wroughtiron by a local ferronnier or blacksmith， with acovering made of woven heather， to createthe most effective shade from the sun.
