2014年12月8日,中國國際貿易促進委員會知識產權服務中心揭牌儀式在北京隆重舉行。中國貿促會會長姜增偉出席揭牌儀式并講話。
姜增偉在致辭中指出,當前知識產權已成為國家競爭力的重要資源和經濟轉型的重要依托。企業作為市場競爭的主體,對知識產權的需求與日俱增,貿促會是中國知識產權事業的開拓者和先行者之一,成立貿促會知識產權服務中心,在中國從貿易大國向貿易強國轉變的關鍵時期,幫助企業提高知識產權創造、運用、保護和管理能力,有利于推動企業自主創新,提高企業競爭力,更好應對海外知識產權糾紛和摩擦。(蘇希玲)
CCPIT Intellectual Property Service Center Opened
On 8 December, CCPIT Intellectual Property Service Center Foundation Opening Ceremony was held in Beijing.
According to Zengwei Jiang, President of CCPIT, intellectual property has now become a key factor in national competitiveness and economic transformation, and the demand for intellectual property protection is on the rise. However, only very few big companies have the ability for patent protection, while most SMEs are short of the ability and funds to do so, and this calls for professional intellectual property protection service from a third party.

CCPIT Work Seminar held in Chengdu
On 25 December, CCPIT Work Seminar was held in Chengdu, Sichuang. Altogether about 40 members from ten regional subcouncils and two industrial-sector councils and staff from CCPIT General Council in Beijing attended the meeting.
Delegates reported the achievements and highlights in the work of 2014, shared success experiences and work plans for 2015. In the session, they also discussed key issues including how to serve the country’s primary strategic trade policies, meet the demands of industrial sectors and businesses, strengthen bilateral cooperation with other nations, build brand exhibitions and forums. They also made proposals and suggestions concerning the revolutionary agenda of CCPIT General Council.

IEIA, the Indian Exhibition Industry Association, and SISO, the Society of Independent Show Organisers, have agreed to share knowledge and information among their respective exhibition industry members. \"This agreement will offer our members an unprecedented opportunity to grow their respective brands outside of the USA with the knowledge and assistance of our international partners, making their expansions efficient and cost effective”, said Rick McConnell, Chairman of SISO. At the same time, SISO will act as the eyes and ears of the U.S. market as IEIA members seek opportunities outside of their primary markets.
