XINAO Textile Autumn/ Winter 2016/17:Innovation for perfection

Through adopting new materials and technologies， XINAO creates and brings more natural， safer and greener life to every consumer. All these involved in the new products were presented in the Autumn/ Winter 2016/17， which was held in Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology on the night of August 28th， 2015.

This presentation is a bran-new try to lead the trend of knitting industry. China Wool Textile Association （CWTA）， China Fashion & Color Association， and The Woolmark Company gave much support， as well as well-known brands， designers，and experts and scholars.

QUEENWOOL

The extraordinary sophistication of top class wool experience

This ultra sophistication of merino yarn quality is newly developed by Xinao and sourced directly from New Zealand Merino farm. The fibre finess is at Super 200S equivalent to only 13.5 microns， which is finer than the average finess of cashmere.

The wool fibre is sourced from the Forest Range Station farm， which is located at highland of south New Zealand. The farm is able to produce merino wool in the most natural ways， without any chemical and mulesing treatments. After 35 years of research， the farm now owns the exclusive gene of the worlds finest merino wools with the largest volume and most stable quality.

The distinct soft handfeel is suitable for products ranging from exquisite underwear to delicate accessories. The itch-free touch offers excellent choice for next to skin products， the unique finess of fabric surface inherited the benefits from the nature of extra-fine merino wool. Excellent sponginess and better shape retaining， are superior to supreme cashmere qualities. All merits combined together with its exclusive rarity， it surely earns its own name： ‘Queenwool.

HILLS

New yarn with texture

Traditionally worsted spun wool yarns have a very smooth and uniform appearance， but Xinao Textiles new range of “Hills”yarn offers something different. Produced from100% Australian Merino wool， during the manufacturing， slubs have been introduced at random into worsted yarn to produce， once in fabric form a new interesting elegant rustic textural look and feel.

Whilst maintaining an elegant feel and appearance this yarn is particularly suitable for producing garments for the continued trend of relaxed dressing， and is particularly suitable for “upper casual” wear.

The “Hills yarn is suitable for both mens and womens wear， and in addition to flat bed and circular knitting can also be used to produce woven wear.

A new merino wool yarn for autumn and winter

A Woolmark Company innovation for knitwear yarns developed in collaboration with Xinao Textiles.

Faced and washed out looks are popular in casual garments. The classic way of creating the faded look on wool knitwear products is to simply use pigments which can be boned to wool fibre with binders and knitwear garment washing treatment； this approach often compromises handle and rubbing fastness. Furthermore pigment systems are only suitable for garment application， which requires extra skills from the knitter or weaver. A new technique has been developed， through an international collaboration between The Woolmark Company and Xinao Textiles， to enable merino wool yarns to possess an inherent ability to fade on washing.

This type of merino wool yarn can be knitted as normal and then during special wet finishing of the knitwear the color of the garment is partially removed from the wool fibre surface to leave an antique or faded look.

Besides all those above， Xinao launched trends information on color， yarn and knitting structure to the audiences.
