Apparel supply chain: Intelligent equipment with greater potential development

The full-time vice president of China National Garment Association Feng Dehu believes that China textile and garment industry should adjust the structure of integration， and change the growth pattern from the previous amount of extensive increasing to quality and efficiency of intensive growth； At the same time， paying attention to environmental protection， energy saving towards the road of sustainable development； Cultivating innate brand， opening up the domestic market， developing cross-border e-business， setting up international marketing network to enhance product values and foster new competitive advantages.

In his view， Chinas textile and garment industry enterprises need to upgrade the traditional entity to promote efficiency on their own and cost， as well as enhance the ability of scientific decision-making and big data man- agement.

“Nowadays， our enterprises are actively changing thought patterns， in order to grasp accurately the direction of industry change， strengthen the market-oriented scientific and technological innovation， increase investment in research and development， improve the brand shaping， increase service elements， promote Internet + garment marketing， energetically develop the personalized custom processing， extend textile and garment industry value-chain.”

Chinas textile and apparel exports has experienced rapid development since China joined the WTO in 2001， especially after the cancellation of quota in 2005， with average annual growth rate of more than 20%. But since the 2008 financial crisis， Chinese textile and apparel export enter the medium and low growth channel， and the situation is more serious this year， declined by 4.6% in first eight months.

Obviously， such a development urged our garment enterprises with garment suppliers to accomplish the innovation in technology and concept. Such as the New Jack Sewing Machine Co.， LTD. There is a research and development group who conquer more than 30 technical projects every year in the company. Technology transformed into capacity， leading the development of the industry， promote their enterprise transformation.

At present， China products， particularly those simple style of the mainland brand order losing to southeast Asia， cause many orders transfer. Meanwhile， because of labor and related costs rise continuously， the yuan against the euro， yen and other major currencies etc. are responsible for the falling of Chinas textile and apparel export.
